They lost a few buyers.I think Ford missed the bus.
They were late on bringing the Bronco back, even though it has been talked about for several years.
Then the timing of trying to introduce in the middle of the worldwide mess and raw material not available.
Pushing back delivery dates on people that put substantial amounts of money down.
When it's all said and done, probably only die hard blue oval fans will still be interested.
Like any other commodity, make the consumer wait too long and the demand is gone.
Check out the vids @sdk131 posted. The ifs doesn't seem to hold it back!Competition is probably a good thing, as maybe Ford and Jeep will drive each other to make improvements that will benefit us that might not have happened otherwise? I like the Bronco as well, but I’m a diehard Jeep guy, and I like solid axles, if I’m not mistaken doesn’t the Bronco have IFS?
Same here. I've always been a Jeep guy, but I've concurrently owned a few Broncos over the years and enjoyed them as well. I was one of the first to order, and waited and waited and waited. Ford kept changing what you could and couldn't get, and when that would happen. I finally said forget it and bought my Mojave in April. I was never a fan of the Ford IFS, but thought I'd give it a shot and see how it worked. Maybe I'll try out the Bronco down the road, who knows.Been there and done that. I was on that train for quite some time and had to get off when I got to the point I could not afford to wait any longer or chance any more delays. Especially with the chip shortage looming and the inevitable bugs they will need to work out of the platform so I chose to stay with another Jeep and pick that conversation back up in 3-4 years time.
Ordered the Mojave on 4/20 and will pick it up this week.
I can honestly say I have no regrets.
they might lose a few buyers, but scarcity will increase demand amongst those that are completely invested in early adopting. these things are going to be impossible to attain off the lot and below msrp for a long time. there are plenty of people that want to off road their vehicles, but refuse to buy anything from the fca/stellantis because of quality control issues or toyota because they're outdated as hell. we should hope that the bronco actually pushes jeep to put out better products with a competitive price tag.I think Ford missed the bus.

The Bronco (not to be confused with the Bronco Sport) seems to be what we call in the computer business, 'vaporware'. Technically, it's a piece of software that is touted and touted, for months, years, but never materializes. I think the same thing applies here. Unless I missed something, I've not seen anything to make me think that it exists, other than showing one at a car show here and there.
Hard disagree from me. The Bronco offers 99% of what the average Jeep buyer wants in a much better package. These aren't the TJ days anymore and I'd throw down cash that the average Wrangler doesn't see any serious dirt until at least the second owner. Road manners matter and with more power, much better steering/suspension, and deeper gears to push large tires, the Bronco checks all the boxes that Jeep has failed to check for what matters to the mall crawler crowd that is the majority of new Jeep buyers.I think Ford missed the bus.

Except there's an enormous auto plant producing them and footage from said plant available to anyone with an internet connection. ?The Bronco (not to be confused with the Bronco Sport) seems to be what we call in the computer business, 'vaporware'. I doubt it.I think Ford missed the bus.
