Fox steering stabilizer install help

I picked up a Fox ATS race series 2.0 steering stabilizer for my Gladiator and found that it will not work with the Yeti track bar I have installed. At least not without a lift, which is on back order. I'm doing a 2.5" lift.

I'm assuming that I will need to move it to the tie rod, but don't see anyone that has a bracket for a through shaft stabilizer.

Does anyone know of one, or if the stabilizer will work once I get the lift installed?

Is there anything else I would need to do in order to relocate the stabilizer to the tie rod, assuming someone make a bracket?

Sure, but probably won't be able to see it too well. I don't have a lift, so taking a picture is difficult, but you can probably tell there is just room for the stock stabilizer and the Fox is much larger.

I'm assuming this is likely an issue with many aftermarket track bars as they are typically larger than stock. Maybe just the way the Yeti is made.

I called and e-mailed Steersmarts earlier this week to see if they have a solution, but have not heard back yet.

Unfortunately not. That does not work with the Fox I have. The part number of my stabilizer is 983-02-148

Really tough to tell from those pics. Have you actually tried to install it, or just theorizing it's not going to go?

The Yeti definitely is a unique design. If the bolts which allow for adjusting without removal are what's in the way then sure I could see a manufacturer that uses a traditional design being better.

Honestly, these 'adjust without removal!' parts are not ideal imo. Just get a normal trackbar and you will probably be fine.

I installed the fox 2.0 AT with the yeti track bar. Basically the same as yours without the reservoir?? I think I remember I had to turn the adjustment brackets on the track bar up or down to get good clearance.
Also, I had to bend the replacement mounting bracket for the stabilizer. The bolt holes were off by a 1/16th. Just enough so that I couldn’t get one bolt through. Basically I had to flatten the angle slightly so everything would line up.

I just installed one tonight and have the yeti track bar as well. The reservoir would rub at full steering lock so I just flipped it under the tie rod. Plenty of clearance now.

I was worried about it, but with the Mojave skid plate installed it’s protected for the most part. Ultimately it’s a temporary solution, I’ll be installing a steer smarts tie rod in a few weeks and will be relocating the fox ats to the tie rod.

I assume that you found a bracket to move the ATS to the tie rod, or are you going to manufacture one? If you found one, could you share?

I would rather go that route to keep it higher, especially running stock height and I don't have the protection like the Mojave.

I bought these to relocate the stabilizer, It should work from my research, but won't know for sure until I do the install:

1. Damper Bolt
2. Tie Rod Bracket
3. Track Bar Mount Stud

Steer smarts has one or you can use the one from fox. The stock tie rod is 1 5/8. The steer smarts one you need to buy the fox ats bolt that they sell for an extra 10 bucks. I actually have the yeti with the ats and was able to angle it up though with the brackets up. I have longer control arms so maybe I'm just getting slightly more space.
