Installed my Cascadia 4x4 80w solar panel. Love the fact that it has quick connects which I can swap in anything else that uses the same (appears to be standard solar power connects, my EcoFlow River Max plugged right in).

Got a Scratch and Dent deal on a DV8 Bumper $207. Was curious how the Rubicon skid plate would look but fits pretty nice. I also added a Diode Dynamics Light bar to it. Wired it into the Factory Fog wiring, but it doesn’t work ? flashes on for a sec, then nothing. Anyone know anything about that?

You don't have the factory LED light option, so the truck is looking for halogen fog lamps when you turn them on. If it finds an LED lamp instead, that's a fault code. So it turns them off. I believe you need some minor wiring component changes and some recoding of the module that controls the lights. Others can explain this better I'm sure. Basically it should work fine by common sense but that's not how modern cars are made; there are multiple small computers or modules that manage everything and changes such as going from halogen to LED require recoding of the module.

Correct. The BCM is looking for the amperage halogen lights would draw. You either need to visit a dealer to reprogram the fogs to LED or buy/borrow a Tazer to change the setting from halogen to LED.

Finally installed the bestop truck bed cap…

by far the single most frustrating thing I’ve ever installed on any jeep I have had my entire life. Some of the design choices they made make less than zero cents… I’m really hoping it actually functions when I go on a trip this weekend… But I guess we’ll see

The simple fact that it’s a non-permanent bed cover that in no way is easy to remove,or put back on, is mind boggling.

and also for anyone who’s looked at this and thought the tonneau cover was worth it. It is %100 not.

Don’t mind the tarp strap to the wheels… It rained like crazy in the middle of me cursing and trying to get this thing on correctly so I had to just quickly throw a tarp over the whole truck because I also had the rear window of my soft top out hoping that would’ve made it easier. So the tarp was drying while I finished.

Decide to Black out my JTO. Started with the logos and badging. Order black OEM Gladiator fender stickers for under the fender Jeep logos. Soon as those are in I’ll take off the silver ones but for now all the Jeep logos and Trail Rated are black. Turned out good IMO. Going to order an all new Mopar black grille insert housing for the silver in the grille.

I got my MOJO (Mid Ohio Jeepers Organization) club badge. I think they intended me to remove the OEM Trail Rated badge and replace it, however, I opted for plan "B".
Fit with hundredths of a millimeter to spare.

Installed my @eight13design lockable underseat storage. Quality kit for sure. Great directions. Only difficult part is wresting with the the seat covers trying to reconnect the interlocking U channels on the bottom in 95* heat. Yeah I should have started this at 8 am not 1 pm.

I finally just received my Top Liner that I ordered 5 months ago. I was considering applying the sound assassin strips. I’m very interested in your experience with the installation and your take on the final results. Your top looks great ?
