Only downside - not legal in some places, most especially California. Reflectors are law. (I'm thinking maybe even federal, would have to check my notes)
Don't get caught along the side of the road with lights off after dark. Just saying - cool ain't always legal (or road safe)
Easily done...

Thanks! Just picked up some from that Amazon link. Guess we will see over time if it holds up to the elements.

OK, so my lights and the plug & play harness came today. Install was about an hour. I added some of that plastic wire loom around most of it, and a shitload of zip ties. Looks like them puppies are really bright! Two thumbs up, Oracle!

And the good quality tape is easily found on Amazon, etc.
Crap. I just realized 3M makes BLUE reflective tape. I'm sure that wouldn't be legal, but it woulda sure gone nice on my hydro blue Gladiator.

Right - federal law - only certain colors allowed depending on location.
It's sure purdy, though! Would look cool on certain parts of the front.

Mine came today too, along with the PnP harness.

Initial inspection of the lights themselves indicates a quality part. On the bench, I dry fit the screw-in connectors from the PnP harness to the lights and all seems good there. Didn’t require excessive pressure to fully seat and secure those connections. No idea how well it will do with the harness connectors in the truck or how long the extensions are. Fingers crossed on both of those fronts.

Worst case, it gets wired up to the aux switches that are also on the way. Honestly, I may end up doing that anyway, depending on their brightness.

Got my new extension wire. Will probably wait until Thursday to install it when I have some time.

So...... Ordered these Led reverse lights 3/2021. Received them and PnP harness 6/2021. PnP harness connector pins loose and pushed in. Would not lock/click into place. Went round and round with Oracle saying they never heard of this before. Got them to replce it finally. Received new harness 7/2021. Installed replacement harness and clicked into place! I said great-finally got it all hooked up. Do they work? NO.. They blink 4 times then shut off. After calling Oracle again..... it seems that you gotta have LED reverse lights and NOT halogen lights - which is what i got in my SPORT model. So now i gotta go and buy LED reverse bulbs.. WTF. CMON Oracle - get this shit figured out. Can i expect this kinda shit with the flush mount tail lights?? - when i eventually get them. PnP ???

I have a base sport non-led, and my lights work fine. My Oracle harness was bad, so I eliminated it, and hardwired it directly to each reverse wire at the taillights.

Another option is to tap into the tow harness wiring if you have that.

Was just reading through a couple of the previous pages. I guess I got lucky, my extension cord was fine, other than it being a little short. Had to try it through 3-4 different holes in the frame to get it to reach the passenger side. Kept saying to myself....They couldn't have made this 3-4" longer.
They are nice and bright though

Others have non-LED and it's been working. But don't blame Oracle - blame the CANbus system, and how loads are sensed and so on. These aren't 1990 trucks where you can connect just anything to the lighting system and it just works.
Some have experienced the need to swap bulbs, others have not. So if Oracle tested this and it worked fine on their vehicle - how many would they need to test it on?

Apparently they had a supplier issue as far as connectors............
