Finally got around to installing my lift, used most of my RK stuff from my JL
So much better, just need to get some new hardware to mount the 8274 up front

Looks good!

I won't get into the debate on the safety or usefulness of Hi-Lift style jacks, but you definitely should never let go of one without the handle being vertical. I've watched them knock people out before.

This is true when having the full load on the jack. This case I was using it to keep the rear suspension from unloading and pivoting on the stands causing the nose to drop. Full weight of the Jeep is still on the stands themselves
Stands are a little short to get the unsprung length of the RK coils in lol

Installed make shift ladder mounts for my Freespirit Odyssey RTT. I have the previous gen tent, which came with a telescoping ladder with hooked ends where you were expected to just hang those over edge of the tent. I found that it dug into the tent fabric too much, and at times hinder the zipper closure. Nothing a couple stainless steel U-Bolts attached to their T-slot nuts couldn't fix.

Exactly what I was wondering. :like:

I used to live in Ohio for about 6 yrs (04-10) and I have friends scattered all over the State that I still visit. Still go hunting up there every fall with a couple of em. I do love it up there and was trying to move back when it was time for me to leave Italy....but dang theres a lot of people LOL.

Not sure how I feel about this yet, but removed my fog light trim/bezel and plasti dipped them white to match the truck. Looks good from far away but up close its not the best match and also not glossy enough even after a couple coats of glossifier. Using this more as a trial since I can peel it off (also was debating painting some of the dash panels so wanted to see the color).

Thoughts? Anyone have better luck getting a better color match for white?

I’m about to do the exact same thing on almost the exact same truck.
Awesome, you'll be happy with it. Passenger side was a pain but I didn't unbolt the track bar or control arms and used spring compressors to get the springs back in.

Had a hankerin’ to add a little color. Took a little longer than I expected as I took the bumpers off but I’m very pleased with the result!

Black Out Badging, Grille and Bumper Trim complete. So long with the “stock” looking silver trim that comes on the Overland. Unlike the 80th AE or specific trims that come with everything black already….I had to do this myself. With that said, I’d still take my Overland luxury features over trims so I guess I didn’t mind too much.

Thinking of doing the same to my grille bezels. Did you use plasti-dip? was it pretty easy?

Thanks
