Not really TO the JT but I bought a small trailer I’m going to convert to a camping/over landing home base. Going to try to utilize my takeoff wheels on the trailer.

What did you use to convert the lug pattern? I assume the trailer was 5x4.5...

I am not regearing (4.10's). Speedo is off about 5mph (10-12%). My guy at the stealership says there is no flash for gearing. My JT only has 2.5" front and .75" rear, to make it level. So far all clear and no rubs. I am disconnecting this weekend to see if i get extreme articulation without chewing a flare.

Now I wanted an under dash version. I ordered this on Amazon:

It came out pretty good and it’s tucked up where it would be hard to kick by the passenger.

Just curious as to whether or not you guys that are putting the 37’s on are staying stock or regearing and reflashing?

I'm not regearing, but I don't do a lot of highway driving. I have a company car I drive most of the time for long trips. If I had more interstate miles, and needed/wanted 8th gear for better mileage, I would consider it. I plan on keeping this truck for a while, so I can't rule out regearing down the road. I just adjusted my speedo with my tuner to adjust for the taller tires.

You can use the Z-tazer to get you close.
The internet shows that they use the tazer to calibrate 40' on a Gladiator.

I haven’t converted it yet, this was just a test shot. I’ll probably run wheel adapters but I may swap the whole axle so I’m not entirely sure what I’m doing yet.

Love it! I had a buddy that fabricated a lift kit for his trailer because he couldn't hitch up to it after he lifted his truck.

I may make some sort of lift or flip the axel but I think adding the 33in takeoffs is going to set me pretty level.

i like it. Drives like a big v8. I need to get Dave’s latest gearbox file in and possibly send him some data for 37’s.

but having power to merge and get up hills is nice

Sweet! Did you regear?

Negative, just recalibrated with the mini tazer. I really can't tell any noticeable difference in how it drives. I'm in flat as a board Florida, so that probably helps.
