I prefer K02s in the 315 size as they are C-Rated and ride much better. Chalk test them but my K02 315s chalked out at 28.5 PSI. They ride fantastic and are very close to the 35" size, measuring 34.6" on mine.

Im running Cooper discoverer STT Pro in a 315/70/17 load range E at 35lbs. Drives great , i think it drives better than the falken wildpeaks that came on it . you can hear them a little but about the same as the falkens.

I have seen some hybrids between AT and MT but can't seem to find what I had looked at in the past. Anyone have any AT/MT Hybrid tire experience? (I understand that this isn't a super well defined category but I have seen tire manufacturers use it... could be a very aggressive AT or street friendly MT.)

Edit: And apparently the Ridge Grappler are considered Hybrid. I suppose that's why we are seeing recommendations in the forum for both AT and MT alternatives. Sounds like forum consensus is that the Grapplers are loud and a poor ride, which would seem to invalidate the point of going with a hybrid. I have the Falken MTs for instance and certainly wouldn't want to make things worse...

Personally when I replace the 33 Falken MTs I will be going with 35s, but the main improvement I want is snow/wet performance, without going to an AT.

I have had no issues with my trail grapples in 35x12.5. Can run them at 9 PSI without beadlocks and they stay on the rims. hook up well. that said I would not run them if not rock crawling in the north east

Toyo has an "R/T" or "Rough Terrain" tire now that seems to be a hybrid, but I have no experience with it.

Someone much smarter than me said the Toyo AT3 is built on the same carcass as the RG. My GX460 had Ridge Grapplers (P-rated) which I had a good experience with. Ended up with AT3's on the JT since they came in 35 x 11.5 and no complaints so far. I actually had poor experience with the Wildpeak AT's with issues keeping them balanced so YMMV.

I've had 14 Jeeps and have tried every brand/model of tire they make. Always looking for that perfect blend of traction, looks and quiet. Just a heads up, they don't make it ;)

I currently have 315/70-17 Bridgestone AT Revo 3's. They're the best tire I've encountered so far. I did give up some traction in our beautiful red clay mud (I actually had to shift into 4wd once ?)) but they ride great and are compeltely silent. This is the 3rd set on this truck (have just over 3000 miles on it...so I experiment. and it's costly)

A couple of things to consider. What PSI are the tires aired up to? How many miles on the Jeep? You don't know if the previous owner ever rotated them. I've had 4 Jeeps in the last 15 years, last two had Cooper STT's, and STT Pro's. These Nitto's are definitely quieter than those, maybe I got lucky.

Forgot to mention, if you do drive a lot, maybe a set of dedicated highway tires and a set of offroad tires? I did that in my last Gladiator prior to COVID allowing me to work remotely full time. Just something to consider if the 'looks' aren't a primary concern. I used a set of takeoff Sahara wheels I picked up for $300.

I'm running Kanati 35's and for an inexpensive tire, they are pretty darn quiet. Almost no weight added to balance, which surprised tire shop. I run 32 psi on the hwy.

Got any pics of the tires? I'm getting that same exact tire on saturday. Dying to see what they'll look like.

315 Milestars @ 32 psi ... they run very smooth

I have these in 37. The rubber is softer and I'm going to be lucky to get 20k out of them. That said, I haven't had much shimmy at speed, but took a fair amount of weight to balance. I've had mine road-balanced ($200 balance). They were smooth at first, but now make an audible hum at speed, and clunk-clunk-clunk between 1-5 mph. I will be switching to a more moderate 37 for the next set. I don't hate these, and I frankly think they are a fine tire for the price. But I think I need to move the needle closer to "daily driver" on the AT-MT range. I'm beginning to think the clunking is more annoying than cool.

I just did a long highway road trip, and got 19.0 mpg. So again, not bad at all.
