How are you liking the weather techs? I need to get something before winter but just don't want to spend the $200 plus on Rokblokz
I have the weather techs on mine and they are great. However, when wheeling the back flaps tend to hit on obstacles. I remove them so I don't rip my flairs off. Front flaps are no problem.

One of the plusses of the rockblokz are the quick tooless removals.

I purposely chose a Willys edition because of the mechanical and appearance options, however I’m not a big fan of the one-piece black shiny grille. I tried to “fix” the appearance by painting the surround in this post:

That was OK for awhile but I really wanted a satin grille but I could not justify the price.

My solution was to buy a slightly used Overland grille from @bigplay_jt and PN# 6KM36TZZAA black trim kit from BAM. I’m liking this better now than the satin grille and the black trim matches the rest of the Jeep.

Looks sweet man! definitely like the black trim better than the silver that was on there before.

Installed a couple of flag mounts I bought off of Amazon. I originally planned to mount them to the toolbox, but saw that they fit perfectly on the inside of the tailgate. I will leave them there for now, if they get in the way, I may move them. I was impressed, they were packed well and really good quality. I have not tried flags at highway speed and honestly probably won't, they are more for in town, off-road and when I just want to display the great American Flag! With a little imagination, I might make a tailgate extender to fit in them, not sure I need one though. After looking at the pictures, I think I will drop them down a bit to be more level with the tailgate.

Installed a Coverking Topoliner and it was a PITA! I have had it for several months and finally decided to install it. The instructions were for a JL and couldn't find any decent instructions anywhere! Coverking should do a better job than this!

Installed a Clayton 2.5 inch overland+ lift and Rusty's control arm skids. Guess Im up for new tires and a re-gear now.
Why regear with just a lift?

I run evo 2.5 and 37's still stock gears no issues.

These 8 speed transmissions do a good job if you recalibrate tire size.

i know 2 people that run 40's and 41's on stock gearing.
