Installed the Borla S-Type Climber yesterday. It sounds as good as a V-6 can sound and no drone, so I’m happy with it. Paired with the S&B ram air system, my Gladiator now makes proper truck noises. Threw on a Pedal Commander today. Pretty happy with that too.

Are you still happy with this cutback system?

I had the Mopar Auxiliary Switches installed today at the Jeep dealer in Raleigh. Yes, I paid through the nose to have it done by the dealer - but it keeps my warranty intact. I see people commenting on here all the time about having electrical issues. IF at some point in the future I have any type of electrical problem, I didn't want the dealer saying my warranty is no good because I installed the switches myself.

What was the dealer cost to install, if you don't mind?

When you're a Jeep husband/dad, you get cool Jeep stuff for your birthday! Weather Tech mud flaps (rears didn't fit and are not available for max tow), stubby antenna and Smittybilt seat covers. She's slowly transforming...

How are you liking the weather techs? I need to get something before winter but just don't want to spend the $200 plus on Rokblokz

ARE CX Classic installed, finally!

Looks really sharp. If you don't mind sharing, what was the cost? I just got a quote for a fairly plain Classic that seemed really high - like RSI/RLD type money.

3200 out the door. Sliding front window, sportsman side windows, carpet, dual led strip lights, power outlet in the back, rails on top. I think that was about it.

I purposely chose a Willys edition because of the mechanical and appearance options, however I’m not a big fan of the one-piece black shiny grille. I tried to “fix” the appearance by painting the surround in this post:

https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/...ur-gladiator-today.23705/page-828#post-756233

That was OK for awhile but I really wanted a satin grille but I could not justify the price.

My solution was to buy a slightly used Overland grille from @bigplay_jt and PN# 6KM36TZZAA black trim kit from BAM. I’m liking this better now than the satin grille and the black trim matches the rest of the Jeep.

Stripped off all of my aftermarket parts in preparation of it being sold. So I can finally pick up my new Gecko.

They were very easy to install and feel solid. I think they are going to be perfect but it hasn't rained since I installed them - the bane of white trucks is that constant mud splash. Just know that if you have a max tow, it's fronts only. I'm still debating what to do for the rears.

Added a diamondback tonneau with the front runner rack system and a CVT Mt Fury tent. Now I just need to get out and try them out.

How much of a pita was the front runner install since it requires drilling?

I'm probably going to end up buying this for my DB sooner than later.

It wasn't too bad. I wasn't thrilled about drilling into a brand new cover, and overall it was way more of a pain than installing the diamondback, but it works. I ended up not using the load bars and instead mounted alucab load bars because they are narrow enough to use a regular tent mount rather than having to buy front runners tent mount that raises the tent 2-3" and costs $76 on top of an already way overpriced rack system.

The system seems like it'll work just fine, I just feel like the front runner rack system is way overpriced for what it is and between it and the diamondback the cover is a noticeably higher quality product.

I disliked the price point of the rokblokz as well, but they really are a great product and worth the money. You can adjust them around the maxtow flares fairly easy as well. I would say bite the bullet and get them. You won't be disappointed.

Same for me, price was a huge turnoff on these. After install though I have to say I was quite pleased. Fit and finish is awesome. Quality is awesome, and they really do look pretty sharp (for a mud flap.)
