Anyone with a Bulletpoint setup cut their original rubber tray to fit over the mounting points? I was thinking about it.
I cut mine. I only ordered the drivers side mount so I cut away like 1/3.

I picked up used locker switch with the factory harness plug and wiring attached. The rear will operate just as a standard Rubicon does. The plan is to pig tail off the front/rear power on and use a relay to send power the the front locker.

The new Eaton one wire eLocker is a simple power on to engage. So it should lock once I flip the switch up to send power. I’ve looked at the schematics for the factory harness and Eaton it should work. I will keep everyone posted if it works and what’s involved.

How are you planning to wire up the factory locker switch? Are you waiting for an adapter? I looked into it, and it seems like adding the locker switch to a non-Rubi is basically a non-starter without some kind of adapter, specifically as it pertains to wiring into the drivetrain module.

Appreciate it. I’m still on the fence. My Eaton finally shipped, and I was only going to do front (to retain my rear lsd), but I’m out of switch options on the oem aux switch panel. Decisions…

Not so much of what I did to the JT, but more of what it did for me. Got the wife and I safely to work in ridiculous freezing rain conditions.
Could have put on ice skates the roads were just wild.
It performed like a champ in 4H, slow and steady while we watched others slip slide and bounce off curbs and each other.
What tires are you running?

Big day for me. M.O.R.E dead pedal install. Will say though, dollar to convenience factor is pretty high on this “mod.”

top to bottom maybe 30 minutes using the zip tie trick and a 4” ratchet extension. Not super easy to access, but not bad either. Only hang up was using the middle hole (I’m 5’10”.) Got one nut snugged one and it was too far. Uninstalled it and did the closest one, much better.

I know this is an ignorant question but what is the purpose of the dead pedal?

Place to rest your left foot in a more comfortable and natural position. Not a big deal in many vehicles because the foot well will usually slope up sooner or have a molded/stamped in dead pedal type rest.

On Jeeps Wranglers and the Gladiator, the foot well is more flat before it slopes up near the firewall.

Not everybody needs one and it is more of a preference item.

Thank you. Makes sense. Having a 36” inseam must keep me from noticing a need for such a thing.

That open space is one of my favourite features of the Gladiator. I like to stretch my left leg out.

That’s what’s good about this one. My foot still fits under it as well.
I like it because my inseam is 30-32ish so unless my foot is flat on the floor directly in front of the seat, it just hangs there. This gives me somewhere to put my foot on a longer drive to mix it up a bit and be more comfortable.

Stopped at a CAT scale today to find out the weight of my Mojave.

Does this sound right to you guys ?

Front end is heavy with the Mopac/Rubicon metal bumper, plus warn evo 10s winch + winch plate, rear has a Yakima overhaul rack fitted. Gas tank was approx 60% full. Plus whatever other crap I have inside the vehicle.
