@Devil Dog is right. First thing is to go back to the dealer and let them know about the issue and that it needs to be fixed.

…the chains may have been too loose and he drove like a banshee. Looks like the truck bounced and used his chain as a limiting strap.

Yep. Looks like you have a well tugged Jeep. You should have a talk with the Dealer and determine what the can do for you.

That sucks. I know what can be done to repair it, but you will never have that new truck feeling again. Since you recently got it, might be a window they can unwind the deal if they are willing but usually that will not be the case.

Wow this is crazy. I will be sure to spend a good hour or two looking at everything before accepting delivery. I hope they compensate you. Kinda sucks that it's the frame and not really a good way to fix that.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you took delivery of it and drove it off the lot. It's no longer 'brand new', it's used. Once that happens, issues like this are likely not going to be covered by the dealer.

I crawled all over & under my Mojave with a flashlight before taking delivery. The people at the dealership were looking at me like I had lobsters coming out of my ears.

Bring it to the dealer's attention and see what happens.

Years ago. My dad bought a minivan. Had a vibration in it on the front. The faster you went, the worse it got. Tire rotation, tire balance, the dealer looked at everything. A couple of other minivans that the dealer sold had the same problem. Engineer traced it back to having bent half shafts in the front. The truck driver had put the chains over the half shafts, then tighten down. This bent the half shafts on all of the minivans on that load.

The good news is it isn’t going to hurt anything other than a potential rust issue.

if it were mine, I’d have them do something to get rid of the surface rust and make sure it wouldn’t come back and see what I could get as far as a cash settlement. Not that much probably, but if you got $500 or so, that would be nice for future mods.

Forget that!!! A lot of dealerships allow you to return some thing within a day or two. Some states even have a mandatory three day cool off After a car purchase where they have to take it back if you change your mind. Anything other than a full refund or a completely different car is the only option. I would not care if that damage causes zero effects to the useability of the Vehicle. It is brand-new....let them cry but who cares. There problem not yours
