I am looking at getting some 37s under my rubicon, however I am stalled on the off set and back spacing. What y’all running and what do you suggest for minimal poke but best articulation? I have a 2 and 1/2” lift on JTR gasser. Thanks and keep jeepin.

I am not running 37s but I would look for a 17x8.5 wheel with offset around +25, AEV wheels have that offset, lots of pictures on their site to get an idea of poke and articulation.

If you have the stock wheels on you can run 37 12.5 17 tires on the stock wheels and you will not Rub on a Rubicon. I had mine on without my spacers on my Max Tow with the wider axles and I could full lock in the front and not rub on the lower control arm. You got the wider axles so your good. Regular sport or overland will need spacers or more backspacing wheels.

On this note, Method also makes a couple wheels in 17x8.5 w/ +25. I have my Method 703s going on tomorrow with 35x10.5 Kenda's.

Which lift are you running? It depends on which lower control arms you have, and whether the front shocks mount in the stock position or are moved outboard (Metalcloak).

I just ordered the 703's in bronze. I'd love to see photos of yours when you slap them on.

Icon Rebound 17x8.5 4.75" backspacing 0 offset. Regular sport Dana 44s. Toyo Open Country RT 37"x12.5" like real ones they measure out just barely under 37". You can look on my build profile for media flexing it out and poke. Zero complaints there. My lift was a bit over 4.5". You are likely 4" given you already had a Rubicon and added 2.5". I wanted to upgrade the brakes cuz 37" tires and wheels definitely made braking sketchier. Needed to make sure I had 4.5"-4.75" of backspacing at a minimum to fit my big brake kit.

Just about anything on the plus side down to 0 will keep you with minimal poke. At 0 you are looking to be about a tread block out from the fender. I run the JK AEV borahs 17x8.5 which are +4 on my Rubicon and they poke the 37’s out about 1 tread block past the fenders.
but the offset/BS depends on the wheel width you want to run.

I am running 37's x 12.5 on 9's with a -12mm offset, and had no rubbing at stock Rubicon height. Im lifted now, same wheel and tire set up, and as you would guess...still no rub, but now I can flex lol.

Be careful running 12.5's or wider on the 7 wide wheels. All of the shops I called to get my tires mounted on my stock wheels said they would not do it due to safety reasons, and you should aim to keep the difference in wheel and tire width to 4 or less. They are the professionals, so I got the 9w -12mm wheels.

Finally...the lift matters. Metalcloak for example, requires a 4.5 backspacing in order to fully articulate without hitting or rubbing your bits. Take a look at your installation paperwork for the lift you have and just double check to see if your hand is forced.

Otherwise...have fun, and enjoy! I love the 37's feels like Im driving a Tonka Truck!

How about full articulation?
