Chopped and bobbed trucks are some of the coolest designs on the trail, that one just doesn't appear to be done. Hopefully they spend some more time finishing/cleaning it up.

I won't be doing it to a new truck, but I really see no difference in people chopping and hacking new Wranglers vs new Gladiators, if that's what they are building it for. Plenty of people build truggeys and still find tons of uses for a shorter bed. Not a lot of use for a DD, but plenty of uses offroad.

I talked with him briefly at stop light. He did it for rock crawling and he just started Conversion . If you look at doors of his jeep you can see some dents and scratches I assume from crawling.

I respectfully don’t like it at all. If the owner was trying get a better departure angle I’d just upsize tires and 6in lift and trim 2in off the bottom of the bed.

For as much effort as it will take to clean up, I'd have sold the box, bobbed the frame, and built from there... Truggy it up.
You could be much more efficient with that space installing a tube rack and fenders...

Breakover angle still sucks. Yeah, just buy a Wrangler.

I guess he's planning on driving it for a very long time because he's not going to be able to sell it. Well other than to Carvana type companies maybe.

They won’t buy heavily modded vehicles.
