I actually saw him when he went up under the back of the truck. I was walking to the truck for a doctors appointment I had to go to. So, I drove about 50 miles round trip on the highway with him in there. I wasn't sure he stayed when I started it up but didn't have time to look. When I got back home... sure enough, two beady eyes looking at me.

F'ing hate rodents. I have them around also. Traps all over to snap heads. Nice new tire lines also, clearly you have new treads. Good hunting!

I finally got around to installing these. They are pretty sweet. Happy with the overall quality - from 813 Fabrication. There are a few things I think they could improve on if they're watching this. It would be sweet if the cab side extended all the way to the sides of the bed. As well as if the passenger side extended all the way to the front. Basically to have full coverage. I'm sure they had the passenger side short to match the drivers side which has the fuel fill tube punching into the bed.

I will also be adding a bolt or two that will have to drill through the bedside as another anchor point. Even with the bumpers, they seem a little flimsy on the front end. The rear has a lower mounting point with a large bolt/nut that uses an existing hole in the bed. I just don't want items secured to this to flop around any.

I still like these far above other options as they have a better anchor point to the existing bolts that tie in the trail rail system - and they have a low profile meaning they only extend a few inches out from the bed as compared to other options I have seen which seem to stick into the bed quite a bit more.

Overall, great product. Highly recommended. The owner was also very excellent with good communication which I appreciate.

I installed body armour 4x4 hinge steps. If you do not actually need these steps I wouldnt install them for just aesthetics because these will mess up your hinges. By that I mean, the rubber gasket that is included is junk and the fitment and the powder coating is barely adequate at best. I torqued the bolts to 19ft lbs and the rubber basically tore from pressure. The the metal end dinged the paint on the hinges. I know if I dont keep an eye on the hinges and keep them clean there will be a rust issue. I applied some touch up paint and will keep an eye on it. Utility wise, it's great. I just wish the powder coat was better and the fitment was more exact for the hinges. If you do choose to install these, make sure you have a mallet and tap the t50 torx bit in all the way or you will 100% strip the bolts! I wouldnt reuse them either if you ever decide to take off the hinge steps.

What did you use for the flairs? Link?
I think I got these online at Amazon or Walmart? Both have the same stuff. Two rolls will be enough if you don’t make any mistakes.
The double side sticky tape is on the wrong side. If you decide to use these, you will have to buy some of that too. I went with tape and screws. The screws give it a much better look IMO.

Unfortunately you got squirreled too.
Yes I did! And they even started chewing on the black plastic edge of my fender flares. They are ruthless like the Russians ?
I’ve got some metal hood latches to install.
