Took some measurement to see how much clearance I have to go bigger on tires. 38” or a small 40” will fit I am betting.

Don’t throw out your old ones. Ive seen posts on here, and the JL forums, where the metal clamps rust oddly fast. Some in less than a month. Not sure about your brand specifically bur id keep the OEMs as backup

You just made me go out and check mine! So far, so good, but that's worth keeping in mind. Especially on cheap Amazon stuff we put on the outsides of our Jeeps.

Technically I haven't done anything to the truck today yet (it's back home in NY), but I happened to be working in Orlando this week and went to Jeep Beach today to check out the vendors.

I picked up a dual compressor from ARB..

And the guys @Threedom hooked me up with their new key that holds just the key and rfid chip so I don't need to worry about my fob getting wet camping or offroad.

I also picked up a pair of their wiper nut covers.. It was nice meeting you guys, thanks!

Put up 4 more Arc Off-Road Wall Hangers (8 total now), so the wife can have her doors off of the Wrangler at the same time. That’s a lotta Jeep doors hanging in the garage.

Rock Hard skid plates for sway bar motor, rear shock mounts and lower control arms. Very well made and solid protection.

New tires and wheels went on today. The Falkens were great but I wanted to go a bit larger and lighter than Falken. LT315/70R/17 BFGOODRICH ALL-TERRAIN T/A KO2 C rating. Wheels and tires are 2lb more each than the stock 285/70R/17 Falken set-up. Mounted on old-school-looking steelies. Mammoth 8 Steel Black Wheel; 17x9; -6mm Offset. Kept the Falken spare for now… on the hunt for a 315 spare.

Replaced the stock Rubicon sliders with a step/slider combo. These things look great and are heavy-duty. I am hoping they block some of the mud, etc. spray now that the new tires have a bit of a poke. Go Rhino DOMINATOR XTREME D6
