Agreed...I get why you'd do it for Rock Crawling but to the point made above why not just get a Wrangler?

Question - why?
Why buy a Gladiator if you don't need the full bed space? Jeep already makes a vehicle that's shorter with the reduced cargo area.
You lose length and width.
Again - why?
Why not buy one ready to go with enclosed cargo area?
Looks like a solution in search of a problem, IMO.
I dunno. If you’re looking to just cure the departure angle problem, doesn’t make sence. Kinda like swatting a fly with a bowling ball. Wouldn’t a 4” lift and 40s do the same without the chop chop?

Your money, spend it as you wish.

I could see it for dedicated rock crawlers. Doesn’t look bad at all to me. I need all the bed space I can get so I won’t be jumping on one but I can see it filling a niche.

I would love to see a JL8 kit drop like the old JK8.

Just my opinion but with thar little of a bed why not just make it a extended JL. I would be far more interested in a JL with that much rear cargo area. Build the seat5to fold down flat and increase the endorse power and I would e first in line to by one.
