Nice. Whose LCA/shock mount skids are those?
They are the Rock Hard 4x4 bolt-on skids. The kit came with front and rear lowers plus the rear shock skids.

I was looking at that kit. Are they rusting, or is it the photo?

Swapped the knee speaker pods and threw in some 6.75" Rockford Punch I had sitting around. No photos of the dash torn apart. Drivers side is as annoying as everyone says it is to swap.

Oh and a word of caution!!!

I didn’t practice what I preach. While yes the trails is not difficult, I wheeled it alone and left the Forrest at about 2am. I just got tired of waiting on the front end TSB to be done…I had to get her a little dirty. Aside from poor trail maintenance, it was an okay trail. Maintenance in that for +/- 8 miles I heard limbs on both sides just screeching down my paint. Thank god for it’s white and I had it ceramic coated. Would have been much worse.

This being said…I’m a larger than average fella, but hate the tiniest of critters. In this case they weren’t so tiny. The freaking spiders spun webs stretching across the trail and I kit you not…looked like crabs hanging up side down. NOWAY would I have finished if I was topless or footless.

Additionally, don’t breakdown or get stuck with no one else there and think about walking out before dawn. If the spiders don’t give you a heart-attack the black bear may if not worse. There were miles of bear tracks over fresh tire tracks left from earlier in the day.

None of my previous jeeps had a 4 to 1 T-case. Pulled it in low, locked up and a 20psi idled over numerous log crossings. No jerking, bouncing or slipping…smooth.

When out in the woods. You become part of the food chain. You are on the menu.

People Work?
Doors and tops back on. Washed and wiped down. Swapped out for the black lug nuts.
I'd love to keep it naked for a while, but my dad is nearing 92 and in diminishing health. He lives about 40 miles away, and our Subaru isn't always here and ready to go should I get the call for help or worse. So it has to be ready to go, rain or shine.
Naked day was fun nonetheless.
