I was going to say about the same thing. If it’s hot and the A/C is on it usually won’t let the truck shut off.

I can’t remember when it did.
Seems like we go from zero degrees and snow to 100 degrees and mosquitoes in Minnesota. ?

Aha! MN, the land of 2 seasons. Crazy stupid cold to 100 degrees and mosquitoes capable of carrying off small deer. I've been fishing up there - I thought the Air Force was doing some sort of air show with biplanes up there one morning, then I looked toward the shore - no, it's the infamous mosquitoes of MN.

Mine doesn't come on that often. Not sure if it's the way I brake or not? Even when it does come on, I don't find it all that bothersome.

That’s not much of a leap to be true. You could almost die from blood loss in the Minnesota woods. In summer. Without heavy clothes.

What's the main cause, low charge aux battery? It kicks in less lately, I'm only at 3700 miles. Recent inspection and first oil change done, no codes/issues. Is this something to worry about? I realize that electronics monitor conditions for this feature to switch on.
Mine takes longer to engage in extreme temps - when it gets hot and the AC is getting the car to auto set temp or when it's cold and it's getting heated up. The message center usually says "stop start not ready" on the stop/start status screen.

When you get to the screen and it says not ready charging. Take it to the dealer an have them replace the batteries. I had this done on mine and it was at about the same miliage you have.
At 3700 miles? Wow, hopefully just duds. I'll be replacing mine every 20-25k regardless of issues. Sounds like 30-35k is when people start getting electrical issues due to a dying aux.

Per those conditions, it's only been hot days here, over 90, could be the cause then. I'll check that monitor on the dash too, thx!
It is not be the miles, it is just be that is the miles you are at when the summer heat kicks in. It has been up to 108 F here in the last week in Vegas and mine does not kick on all the time now in order to keep AC working at top level while stopped. I am at 1700 miles. My BMW was same way. Got so used to it with. BMW I dont notice because that was and is normal in many cases

My truck was built in March 2019, and I bought it in July. I'm at 32k miles on the original batteries. The ESS still works, when I forget to turn it off. I was hoping that I could get the batteries replaced under warranty, but it doesn't look like they're going to fail in the next month.

When mine acts up, I turn iot off for a few days and that seems to get things working again. Aux battery recharged, not sure? All I know I can duplicate this everytime.

i only want it fixed, cause i dont want stuff thats broken
