Drove the whole 90 minutes home from the trails fine and didn't notice the damage until I looked underneath this morning. Managed to smash my transmission lines when a rock got lodged underneath on an easy trail this weekend, gonna be taking it to a shop tomorrow to get a quote for replacement. Just my stock Sport "High Tide" edition, no lift or anything. Anyway, I could use some recommendations for a good and reasonably priced skid plate to protect the lines from getting smashed again. Not looking to do the full setup that replaces all of the factory stuff, I don't plan on doing anything crazy or harder than easy "blue" trails. This is with the 3.6 Auto.

+2 for Asfir. Been running the engine/transmission and transfer case skids for over 5 years now. Price and fit are on par.

I have their skid plate for the fuel filter on the diesel. It's taken a few hard hits. :like:

+4. Got mine used and sprayed it black to be invisible under the truck. Just a little piece of mind for me most days.
Pic?

Another voice in the Asfir chorus. I bought mine exactly for the reason you are now looking at. My Willys has decent plates on the gas tank and the transfer case, but nothing substantial to guard the engine/trans. I worried about those trans lines especially.

I just did a trip up South Park in the Panamint Mountains (west side of Death Valley). The plate got a workout on the granite there. Other than leaving some aluminum shavings on the rocks here and there, no issues.
