We can make that happen! I have that one and five more. I started with the LiFePO4 batteries and then transitioned into the fridges. A friend got me my first few batteries but I bring them in myself now and I found the fridges and started buying them too. Just can’t justify $1300 for a Dometic when these work as good as they do.

My wife has talked about a "refrigerated cooler" for grocery shopping on the other side of town or for our trips to car shows - forget the ice sort of thing, or to suppliment the ice.
I'd seriously consider an "electric cooler".

Thats incredible. If you get to 500k, crhsyqer should just give you a new one at no cost. Thats a lot of data to collect once the tear up that motor and transmission..

The 12V compressor refrigerators are awesome. The OP basically lives in his truck so He could really use one to keep food and drinks in. Also when camping they are almost a requirement for anything over a couple days because you don’t have to worry about ice. One of my favorite tricks is to walk up to the fire eating an ice cream cone to make everyone ask where I got that! Since this thread is about the 100k mile review if anyone else has questions for me send them to me in a PM.

Thanks for the 100K ride along! Not sure if it's legal and likely you wouldn't but have you ever experimented with adaptive cruise? I'm just wondering as a pro driver what you think of that. It scares the hell out of me but some seem to like it.

Drive I80 between Des Moines and the Mississippi. You'll wonder how the heck you lived without it.
Most of the traffic is semis for some stretches, unless there's an Iowa game then all hell breaks loose on that interstate - talk about moron drivers and idiots playing "let's block these people" (even the truck drivers get into that game now and then)
Without it you either do not use cruise for a couple hundred miles, or you always hit the brakes then resume, brakes, resume, whatever.

my model Y has great hands off driving but one of my sales guys just bought a brand new escalade and the “super cruise” on it seems to be just as good if not better

The "hurry up" for EV at GM is either great PR or it is REALLY good news!

Actually I was not making fun of those with serious problems. I do believe that there are some out there with serious legit issues however, I also think that the notion that every 2020 JT is a timebomb just waiting to go off is hyperbola. A mini hysteria has been created that has now slammed the brakes on all replacements. This doesnt benefit anyone. Everyone rushing to their dealer to get the parts, weather they need them or not has only exacerbated the problem. I will eventually get mine replaced but for now its not a problem and compared to my CJ, its a canyon carver. I will acknowledge that FCA and many in their dealer network has handled this poorly however. For those with legit issues, I am sorry. I hope yours gets the fix it needs soon. For others, presumably like the OP, who have 100,000 miles on it, its evidence that some (most?) JTs on the road are working just fine.

Working fine is one thing. Paying 40k+ for sloppy steering is another. I could easily have lived with my old steering. It wasn’t terrible, but by far the worst steering feel of any vehicle I’ve owned. While also being the most expensive vehicle I’ve owned. FCA tried to cut a corner there, and now they’re paying for it. My steering now, on their dime, is as intended. You can live with mediocrity if that suits you, but FCA is going to give me my dollars worth.
