Gotcha, hopefully it’s normal. A friend had a 17 or 18 JK with the Ripp kit on it and I do not recall that noise. Maybe it will break in like you said

That thought is actually spot onSounds wrong but wonder if it’s a belt issue rather than the compressor itself. Would account for why you have the same noise with the new compressor. Just a thought.
I had a pretty good finish the first time, but after moving it around, I noticed some light spots. It will either work or it won't. If not, then I'll sand and do something else. Anyway, the bigger issue is just getting it put together. One more day, then I am down hard for a while.I’ve never had any lucky getting a decent finish with that stuff. I used black laquer spray paint and two coats of satin clear.
I think it’s super sensitive to impurities in the metal. It was probably an error on my end. I think part of the reason I’m getting nice finishes now is because I’ve been taking more time with prep.I had a pretty good finish the first time, but after moving it around, I noticed some light spots. I think mine is OK, just lacking some fine tuning.this sounds like yours
not many videos of a 3.6 idling, found one other but that one didn't have the rattle.
It seems most of the videos posted were done by ripp and I was trying to avoid those to stay unbiased.
