Yes. 17X8 instead of 17x7.5 wheels and 35" 315/70R17C instead of 33" 285/70R17C tires
Are they lifted as well? Do they have the Mopar 2” lift already installed?

Yes. On the Wrangler order site part of the Recon package is labeled 35" suspension.

Meanwhile while we can't get a single datum about the MY22 JT, a masked '23 ZR2 was spotted testing in the wild.
You sent me downs serious rabbit hole. The 23 GMC Canyon AT4X or 23 Colorado ZR2 is going to take my dough if I can’t order an Earl JTR by Jan. The GM 2.7 I4 looks to be the perfect engine for a midsize.

With the introduction of the 2022 Chevy Silverado, the pickup’s turbocharged 2.7L I4 L3B gasoline engine now produces 420 pound-feet of torque at 1,500 rpm, a 72-pound-feet increase compared to the previous model’s 348 pound-feet. Meanwhile, horsepower remains unchanged at 310 ponies at 5,600 rpm. Tow rating on that engine goes up to 9600 lbs.

You'll be getting 7mpg when towing anything near that big.

That tow rating is for that engine in a 1500 chasis, right? I’d imagine a Ram 1500 Rebel with the eco-diesel is likely similar.

The following is my perspective and not at all a dig at anyone:

No other truck can take the doors and roof off, have solid front axle and have the cool factor that Jeep’s do. We drink a different kind of Kool Aid on this site, it’s why they get away with being so got dang expensive and still selling. Having stupid number of leaking roofs, cracked windshields, and still be just cool.

Until Ford or someone else decides to make a direct competitor like the Bronco minus the botched pandemic era launch, JTs are truly in an era of their own. A ‘lifestyle’ vehicle as some would put it.

I link to what I see as the relevant language in this post: https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/...et-my-ducks-in-a-row.49266/page-2#post-798841

The money quote on the TL page is: "FCA WILL BE UPDATING THEIR ELIGIBLE VEHICLES STARTING OCTOBER 1ST. CHECK WITH YOUR DEALERSHIP TO SEE IF YOUR VEHICLE WILL STILL BE COVERED BY THE FCA DISCOUNT. WE CANNOT SUPPLY SPECIFIC VEHICLE INFORMATION. MEMBERSHIPS ARE NONREFUNDABLE. "
I called on Monday. Per FCA all 21 vehicles stay the same. 22s will not get the discount

Wow. That’s a game changer, I’m triple glad I didn’t wait out the 22’s.

My dad talked to the Ram dealer he ordered through (mentioned above), and they confirmed the discount is disappearing. He ordered a '22 (already out), but the dealer says they'll take care of it. Personally, I hope they do, but that seems like precisely the sort of trap dealers like to set to screw people.

Take it from me. I sold my '20 ZR2 Bison diesel with <8k miles due to quality issues. Three steering wheels, two infotainment systems, and the straw that broke my back was the engine burning multiple quarts of oil at a go, and GM refusing to stand behind it. I took advantage of the crazy used car market rather than get stuck under that engine (and who knows what else) when the warranty runs out. I went out of my way to sell it to a dealer (which I would NEVER do otherwise) so the buyer would be able to get an extended warranty on the thing... You're better off picking a slightly different shade of gray.

If the Gladiator stays mostly the same (no 4xe or new colors / drivetrain combos) I'll likely order a 2022 ZR2 diesel. Problems are hit and miss, the diesel thread on here still wouldn't steer me away from ordering a Gladiator diesel.
