I think the color was on life support the last few years. I seem to recall a stat of like 3% of orders was for red.
I've owned two Chevrolets in Victory Red, and two Jeeps in Hydro Blue.

I'd buy the Hydro Blue twice more, I wouldn't buy red again.

So the 3% stat passes the smell test 😂

I think I'm just a metallicy guy now.

After those two red vehicles, I had a metallic burnt orange Camaro, then two metallic blue Jeeps, and my current Camaro is metallic silver.

White, black, and especially that damn glossy primer grey color, all suck. Red is meh, and purple, mojito, silvers, and some of those brown-ish metallic colors are really cool, like the one on my buddies 2016 Sierra Denali.

I prefer red, matches my face when I read stuff like "Red is meh" on the interwebs.

Of course, Hydro Blue was a close second, in all honesty its a nicer color, I'm just very much a gloss red guy. I'd let my freak flag fly for Hella Yellow tho..

I'd strongly consider buying an obnoxious yellow truck (if it was metallic).

If I had to replace my truck though, I'd be struggling between Reign and Mojito right now though, to do something different...

I have had mostly white. The only color that would make me change is a deep candy apple red. Not an orange red or firetruck red.

Well supposedly "Goldilocks" will be a late release color this year, although I doubt that more without any mention of it in the build sheets.

AFAIK its a metallic gold/yellow.

Reign is absolutely 10/10 if you can live with a darker color. I've seen a few JLUs in Reign, pictures do not do it any justice. Reign with bronze wheels, would be killer.

It seems in the aggregate, red was just not a mover. Best time to find a red JT was in a model year leftover stock because they were slow sellers during the year.

I like the color and would have no problem buying one if the deal was right. Colors come in and out of fashion all the time though.

I'd have bought red except I already have a red Jeep and a red Ram and had a different red Jeep and a red Durango before that. I felt like I needed to change it up a little.

So you still cannot get a Hydro Blue Mojave X even though they show one on the 2026 section of the website!
They don't even show 2026 yet in the build and price, so I wonder if that's old stock photos..........unless it's back for 26, as it sure wasn't for 25.
Stock photo - or they brought it back.

It's darker in some light, lighter in other light.
And the metallic in it is blue, red, you name it. You get it clean and polished up and look closely at the paint, it's quite a combo of things working well together.

Jeep needs to do more for the Gladiator. Lazy and it continues to prove that we are the black sheep of the family.

We aren't in the refresh cycle yet. Wrangler has nothing new, either. What are they going to do to them before the next major refresh?

Since the JT rides the coattails of the Wrangler, doubtful one will change without the other changing.
