Bit more than dozens, maybe hundreds (this was edited from thousands after reviewing current for sale Hemi Gladiators), compared to the 7000ish per year 392's built by Jeep with a factory-backed warranty. My belief is that a factory powertrain would be highly sought after and eat away at Ram sales of the 1500, thus leading to Jeep not making a V8 JT.There must be dozens of them!
From Rubitrux:
" We have years of experience when it comes to our HEMI conversions; with over 600 Wrangler & Gladiator HEMI swaps completed in recent years, we can offer experience in the field and the confidence and reliability you expect from a factory-installed drivetrain. "**
**Can be taken with a grain of salt as they do not note years of wranglers.
600 to the count, and that's just Rubitrux. That doesn't include all the kits AMW sells, the Dakota Customs kits, Exodus, MM4x4, etc. The upfront cost is a huge deterrent, but add a factory warranty, factory everything, and it would be a huge success (as the 392 is) and would take away from Ram Sales.
