This is an awesome write up… But wouldn’t you also need steering wheel controls?

Yes, need to change out the cruise control switch for a cruise control switch that has ACC. Requires removal of the steering wheel. Now would be a good time if you want to switch to a 392 wheel or install paddle shifters.

Sorry i mean under 20MPH
You can turn it on under 20 and it will pace the car in front of you, if they’re going less than 20.
I saw no way to adjust the minimum speed it will keep lower than 20. Albeit I was not looking for that specifically.

You are absolutely right. I will add it to the write up. I totally forgot about it as I already swapped mine with 392 steering wheel and added the paddle shifters months before installing the ACC.

You will need a new harness for the steering wheel for the switch. I swapped the entire steering wheel except the airbag.

..
Do you know by any chance if it possible to make to ACC working even under 20 MPH ? Can the Tazer mini do that?
Also i would love to let in on permanent (i don’t want to turn it on each time i turn on my JT) any solution?
As @sapientiam has mentioned before, there is no way to lower the minimum below 20mph. The function will work to a point, it will stop the vehicle. It will pace the vehicle in front doing 2mph indefinitely. You just cannot let it cruise at less than 20mph without anyone in the front of you.

With regards to second question, the feature is enabled but you have to turn it on and specify the speed you want it to operate at, each time you want it to. I believe this is done so because of the liability issue more so than lack of capability.

It’s tempting to add this

I was speaking to @sapientiam about the ACC switch. I replaced the harness for the steering wheel for the paddle shifter while I was transferring all the components off of 392 steering wheel. He mentioned that he did not change any harness for his ACC switch install. So I stand corrected that you do not need a new harness if you have 2023 Diesel Rubicon.

Auto Highbeam In Function.

I was able to activate this function after the ACC install and Configuration change.

My wife's Subaru Wilderness has that auto-dim feature. It basically never lets me turn the high beams on when I want them if there's street lights and I'm just trying to see if there's any deer or people that might walk out of the park near my house and try and cross the street at night. Yea it closes at night but the dog walkers don't seem to care.

The autodim in the Gladiator works very well, at least for me.

Together with the ACC a feature which I would really miss.

Interesting thing on the Auto Highbeam feature is that when I enabled the option through AlfaOBD, it took over 24 hours to show up on the menu. More like almost 40 hours!

I'm starting to order parts for this for my '23 JTRD... The windshield harness (68357530AD) is showing up as incompatible for mine according to mymoparparts.com, while the all-inclusive trim, harness & switch bundle is compatible. Any ideas?

I got that part number from another post that someone mentioned, so I cannot confirm if that would work for sure. I used 7JY99TX7AB for my install.

Update on the install with nothing special to report. The tint designed for the tail light with patterns drawn on the film is holding up well. I don't think I will ever swap out the until it chips or cracks.

The film looks tinted from outside and inside it shows hexagon patterns.

Have about a thousand miles since the install on the cruise control and even the emergency collision avoidance had activated once or twice. While I don't think it will completely avoid frontal collision it will save you from hitting something at full speed.

FWIW, I'm midway through the install, and that part number (68357530AD) seems to be correct for the MY2023 as well, everything plugs in. Working on the programming side now, was hoping the Autel I have would do it but I have my doubts after last night.
