AEV 2" Spacer lift VS TeraFlex 2.5" Spacer lift

Quick question for the experienced, and owners of either of these lifts. I have a 2021 Gladiator Rubicon and getting ready to do a small lift and might be putting on 35s or 37s when my stock tires are done.

I am mainly looking at spacer lifts to simply change the appearance and gain a little more clearance. The only type of off-roading that I do is dirt/mud trials, sand/beaches, and just if it snows (I left all the serious rock crawling for the old 2-door that I don't have anymore). I am purposely staying away from suspension lifts since I like the stock fox shocks and I am most definitely on a budget.

Any information on either of these spacer lifts or other spacer lifts that I can keep my stock shocks would be greatly appreciated. I will also not turn away from any other good information from the community as this is my first post.

I bought a cheapie off Amazon for something like 78 bucks. Came with spacers, hardware, sway bar links, and shock extensions. For the rear I bought a set of 3/4” spacers and nothing else. I think they were 28 bucks. Does everything those expensive ones do for 100 bucks and I run 37s all day on an Overland.

Might have to look into that, but just have a few more questions if you don't mind.

Do you know what total ground clearance you gained from your front and rear kits with or without the tire size included?

I most likely will be going with 37s in the future and I am trying to figure out how much lift I want and what I'll actually get.

I gained exactly 2.5” in front and 3/4” in rear… they’re just spacers. Spacers don’t lie, if they measure 4” tall you’re gonna get 4” lift.

last question hopefully, have you seen any rust or corrosion of any of the metal parts? I know AEV claims that all of their coatings are made to "OEM standard" and have some type of warranty for it. How long have you been running this setup and anything you wish you would've changed or done differently?

I’m actually changing all of it very soon, but only because I want more lift. I’m going with a 4” full suspension kit with control arms and all that good stuff.

As far as rust goes, I’m in Southern California so hard to say, but we did have some pretty solid rainfall this season and I’ve had no issues with that. As for the spacers themselves, I believe they’re polymer so naturally that’s not going to rust.

I put the Teraflex spacer lift on my 2008 JKU Sahara. and did not have any issues and liked the ride. I have installed the AEV spacer lift on my 2022 JT Rubicon and love it. No changes in ride. The AEV is the more expensive of the two but am happy as hell with the quality of the product. I took the Rubi to the dealer and had them re-torque the UCA/LCA's to spec outlined in the AEV kit.
