The willys shocks are junk. The AEV kit was great on the mojave and those shocks are worth retaining via shock extensions. For your situation I'd install the kit without the shock extensions and then replace the stock shocks with 1-3" lift shocks. You'll gain significant suspension travel going that route.

Agree 100% just put my bilsteins in after doing the space kit a few months ago. The jeep rides perfectly now, shocks were such an upgrade and I bought two on "open box" for half off so it's was a win. I was not able to use the provided procal snap however, doesn't play well with my barebones Willys sport.
