Thanks!There isn't one - you have to change the source at the fuse panel. There's even a jumper kit for that.
That one otherwise isn't selectable.
Wrangler people have been doing that for quite a while and have info, and I've seen the guys post about it here along with the link to the jumper that connects it to a different fuse.
Jeep powers it this way to keep people from killing their batteries with accessories and then complaining to the dealer that their batteries died or the jeep won't start. Well, maybe, but in reality, "lighter" sockets have been powered both ways for decades. Going back to the 80s and before, some lighters were live all the time, some only in accessory mode so Jeep is likely just making a choice like was done in your father's days
I know my ram had one that was always hot, and one switched. I'll figure this one out.
