Couple of pics of the front slider. The opening is 11” wide. Fully encompasses the Gladiator slider.

Nice! Thanks for sharing.

Not going to lie, I'm kinda regretting not opting for that now...

Can you open it from inside the cab? Or just from the bed side? Latch makes me think bed side only.

Not sure what you’re asking Corey but I will tell you that it comes with two pigtails.

The one coming off the back passenger corner is for the rear brake light (we will now have 4 brake lights on our trucks!). He slightly bored out one of the holes on the corner of the bed and then picked up the brake light from the rear corner lights.

The second pigtail comes off the rear drivers corner and this is for the 3 led lights that come standard with the canopy (I didn’t know this). They asked me how I wanted to be able to turn the lights on and I said anytime I wanted to wether or not the truck is on so they ran a wire into the bed of the truck like they did on the other side and ran the wire along the rail up to the battery where they installed a fuse before connecting it to the battery.

The led lights have a medium and high setting and provide a lot of light when on. They are each switched separately.
That helps a ton, thank you!

If you had a moment to pull the tail lamp off to share a photo of the final wiring job and the path they used to get the wires there, that would be amazing. I bet I can figure it out if not though.

Can only open from the bedside. You do have a bit of a rear view mirror obstruction with the frame and latch compared to the solid window. Kind of looks like gunsight cross hairs.....

Sorry, yes the base of the doors which are made of a piece of channel so they stick inward a bit more than the “skin” of the doors.
ohh, base of door is the red part, skin of door yellow part, got it.

The red is the base of the canopy with its integrated channel.
Between the red and yellow on your drawing is the frame of the door that I took the measurement from.
The yellow is the “skin” of the door.

if you have windows 10, press the windows key+shift+s Draw a rectangle around what you want to "snip", then it'll popup in the lower right corner of your screen, click the popup, it'll open up a generic photo editing type thing where you can draw on it.

You can use this to "snip" basically anything on your screen. Photos from websites, comments, Meme's, AND Alu-Cab photos.

Man I’m sorry this is so screwed up.
The freight company seems to have dropped the ball big time. Please keep us updated.

LMFAO, so I call the dispatcher, who is the 2nd shift supervisor, or so he said.

Now i'm being told I can drive a 2 hour round trip to go get it from their dock, or they can "PROBABLY" deliver it monday.

Good news, Eric from AVO read this thread and called me as soon as he read this. So that's good.

When I asked the 2nd shift dispatcher guy what YRC was going to do for jerking me around for a week and making me drive to get it, he said YRC will probably not to anything as far as putting money in my pocket because they barely have enough money to pay their employees........

He said the reason they can't get this to me this weekend is because they only have 1 liftgate truck for half the state and forgot twice to put it on the truck.

I'm sure my wife will be thrilled that I want to drive there to get it so I can install it this weekend.......Mother's Day weekend....

I'm paying to have it delivered anyway, probably just going to wait for them to deliver and install it next weekend.....UGH.

Do you think with the rear cab window open and the front cap window open it would be cool enough for a dog in the cap if running the JT A/C?

@JK4AER
I doubt the a/c would have much affect in the bed area. Any cool air coming from the cab would just suck out between the cab and the cap as there is several inches of gap between the two. Even with a foam or inflatable collar for a seal I don't think you would get much circulation.
