Anyone clean their hvac system to get rid of AC stink?

I've never used it, but I was looking for kits to use on my 2017 CX-5 and I found this Subaru kit. I have no idea why it is so reasonably priced:

Why do the cabin air filters get dirty on trails? Mine went 2 years, and was still really clean... but I turn off the HVAC and open windows/top/doors at every chance I get...

Spray cleaner would need to be in contact with biological material to work. Ozone generator works great for any odors just need the fan on to circulate the air through the system so I don’t believe the engine needs to be on for that to happen. Ozone is unhealthy for living things so close up the jeep while doing it and air it out afterwards. Just changed my cabin filter at 9k and fairly dirty. Also turn off AC compressor and let the blower run a few minutes to dry out the evaporator will help keep the problem away.

That’s why mine gets so dirty. It’s so hot and dusty out here that I use the HVAC all day and keep it sucking fresh air to filter out the dirt.

Just changed the cabin filter and it was moderately dirty. Even had some small winged insects in there. Before I replaced the filter I turned the ac on full blast and turned off recirculation. Then I sprayed a good amount of lysol disinfectant into the cowl vent. Let it run for a couple of minutes and shut it off. We will see in the coming week if it does the trick.

Has anyone figured out how to unclog the ac drain? My passenger footwell is constantly full of water. I can't even find that drain with a boroscope. It's driving me crazy.
