I'm sure I'm in the minority of people who have manual windows (2023 Sport - total base besides Max Tow). But for those that do, do you find your windows rolling down on their own? As in every few weeks you have to roll them back up because they creeped open a quarter inch or so? I roll the driver down all the time, but the other three seem to open themselves on the regular.

I searched for my Gladiator for months trying to find manual windows but never found anything that hit all my wickets. There should be some sort of “tensioner” for the handle you can probably adjust. Time to open up that door and start poking around.

Jeep got too high tech to built a functional manual windows. Hardware/mechanical engineers are making a comeback nowadays.

My rear drivers does this on occasion. I just snug it up and it will stay for another month or two. Odd thing is say something like off roading the bouncing around doesn't seem to make it creep down at all. Just does randomly does so.

My Sport with manual windows did the same thing. I fixed it by taking the handle off and reinstalling so the weight of the handle is pushing down closing rather than opening. Totally fixed it.

I noticed my rear do the same, I only snug them up before going into the car wash.

Back in the day I remember when a guy bought a car with power windows all the naysayers would jump all over him saying "Why did you get them? Just another thing that's going to break and need fixing." Guess the pendulum has swung the other way.

Engineering has progressed so far that they don't even know how to make roll up windows that work properly 😂

Heck the up and coming engineers now probably have never sat in a car with crank windows...

Mine had that issue when it was still under warranty. I had it fixed at the same time as all the window seals, since all the rear windows were leaking at the time, even when they were sealed. I made the dealership fix all of it, has been 3 years, its stayed fixed. Not sure what all they did.

I prefer the roll ups, but I know most don't.

I had to do that with my Comanche and Wrangler or it would hit my knee. ;)

FYI, I thought about getting manual windows when I got mine too, it would have pushed me getting it back probably 3-6 months then.
