I have about a 35 mile commute with 30 miles of that driving between 70-75 mph. Weekends it starts to dip a little as it is mostly surface streets but I am normally able to go about a week between fill ups. That matched up well enough with the BMW 328i I traded in. Overall I am very happy with this truck.
Are you saying the Mpgs are close to the BMW 328i, what year was the BMW because I got 26 or better average in my 2009 BMW 328i and get the same in the 2014 435.

Not sure about stock but just did under a thousand miles in 1 day. Here is the outcome w/ 37's.

No...that I refill the tank about as frequently as I did with the BMW. I got about 24-25 mpg on my 2011 328i, but it had a smaller tank. I get 19-20 with the Gladiator but with the larger tank I fill up about once per week...or same as I did with the BMW.

Too many factors to consider, tire size, tire width, tire weight, actual gearing, reprogramming of shift points, local speed limits, actual driving habits, top on, no top, Windows open, windows closed... I got more.... Gas mileage will go up. If you want it to stay the same, don’t change the tire setup, you will be disappointed. On the other hand, gas is cheap, upgrade :)

Stock I was averaging 16.5 mpg on my rubicon over the first 5000 miles. Now on 37’s with JKS lift I’m seeing about 15.2 all hand calculated and it’s been calibrated with a tazer mini for proper shifting etc. With my JL I traded in I was averaging 20.8 mpg with the 3.6 on 33’s over the 18,000 miles before trading on the gladiator.

I don’t know how everyone’s getting such great mileage with and without stock tires. I was getting 19 on stock 245/75r17 tires. I’m running 315/70r17 BFG KO2 tires now. I’m getting about 16-17.

Of course I disconnected the start/stop feature last summer and never hooked it back up. I don’t like that hippy device cutting out my a/c in the summer.

I’m running the Mopar lift and have a manual transmission with 3.73 gears. I had the dealership reflash the speedometer.

I‘m more concerned with power than gas mileage though. I didn’t like the hit in take off power with the bigger tires. I’m thinking 4.10 gears might bring the power off the line back to normal.

I've read that the mileage gets better after 1200-1500 miles, so I'm hoping that's the case.
This is true. When I got my max tow, hwy I only saw 15-16 and 18-19 city. After about 700-800 miles I gradually saw economy shifting up. @ 1200 miles now I'm averaging 18.4, via comp. Just ordered 37s and 3.5 in lift, so I'll see in a week or 2 how that effects my mpg.

Stock wheels and tires. Hard bed cover. No tow rear end. Easy on the throttle and 67-68 mph highway. No lift. I get 23 to 24.

Can’t give you a before/stock as I only had them on for the ride home from dealership. Running 37s and getting 17-17.5. Combo of city and highway driving. Had it as high as 18.1. That’s on 3.73 gears, and no it’s not a dawg. Still good pep. Do have a pedal commander and also Tazer to dial in tires, along with K and N intake and FlowFx exhaust.

pretty happy with the performance and mileage with the 37s.

I'm currently on 35" Grapplers and after a 3 hour trip - I'm getting 18.5 avg.

Surprisingly I was getting 15 on the same trip with 315 K02...

Not a %100 accurate test by any means but for sure noticed it.

I'm getting just over 19 MPGs on 315 70 17 BFG KO2S average. Got 21.1 MPGs on a 103 mile trip over the weekend. I'm pleased with it. Was getting 21-22 average on the stock 32's, mines a Max tow for reference with a full width steel bumper and Badlands 12000lb winch installed.

I just went with a JKS 3.5 lift and 35/12.5/17 Toyo AT2s. Gas mileage went from 19-20 down to 17-18. Running 32PSI in 35s and 3.73 gears 8-speed auto. Not bad MPG considering my JT looks and handles much better :like:

Same experience here on the highway but my around town mileage has bombed. I think I normally see 12-13 around town because it's so much light to light.

You use the ESS, I wasn't using it but I've been letting it do it's thing and I've probably gained at least a half mpg by doing that. I know sitting idle really kills the MPGs I've noticed.
