Anyone have armorlite and something like a kraken inflation system? Looking for ideas because the wiring for the kraken system goes through the drain hole.
I installed the Innovative AT Products kit, but I did what the Kraken install instructions say for de-pinning the connector and then feeding the wires through a hole made in the under the seat drain plug. The wiring for the compressor doesn't get routed through the drain plug in the passenger foot well.

What did you end up doing for the wiring in drain plug? I have the Armorlite ready and the kraken ships in about 2 weeks.

Anyone have any regrets after going with the Armorlite carpet replacement?

It looks fantastic to me, if a little pricey, but I’d like to know how it holds up and if there are any downsides.

Thanks!
necro but since it got topped, I may as well add:

Sand in the front footwell is like tiny ball bearings. I never realized how much I relied on friction from the carpet under my feet until getting rid of it. (May be related to having a pretty high lift and having to do some gymnastics to vault in)

Bought an ARB compressor extension from expedition essentials.
Ran that extension from the compressor under where the armorlite overlaps each other through the center console.
Ran it up the driver door sill(would not recommend, would probably recommend just run it under the center console) into the hole in the firewall way up in the driver side footwell.
Run the kraken harness from the battery to the extension
You will cannot use the kraken rocker switch they include as the harness extension will not allow it to work properly due to the kraken harness being wired slightly different.
Used a factory aux switch to supply power to the compressor signal/switch wires(the thin purple(power) and black wires(ground)) and grounded to chassis.
Long response but if I missed anything feel free to ask

Has anyone successfully installed the OEM posts in the Armorlite to put the carpet floor mats in? I want to put the Armorlite in my JT and my Wife's JLU, but she wants carpet floor mats in the front.

What did y’all end up doing with your stock carpet pieces? Currently have mine in the huge box the Armorlite came in, but that situation won’t hold for much longer.

I tried to give mine away, but no takers on this forum or locally. Most of it became a part of the landfill except for a couple of pieces I cut to use for padding when I crawl around on the floor.

Cut pieces to put between things that make noise when they touch. :)

On ungodly long drives it does heat soak and heat up... ask me how.

Don't have cans of soda in the passenger floor boards on an 18hr drive.

I felt the heat more when I had carpet. Well not more, but quicker. The armorlite takes longer for the underbody heat to penetrate.

Its got probably 2x the thickness in the fiber layer than the OE carpet. Seems like that would keep it cooler for longer as youve noticed.

I lined the floor in mine with butyl/aluminum sheets, the foil helps a bit. I did put it in after driving for about 30 minutes and was surprised by how hot the transmission tunnel got.

Did anyone ever trim the trim so that it would sit correctly?

Had mine installed and picked up just last evening. I knew I should have done this long ago. I absolutely despise carpet in my offroad vehicles. I have yet to find even a single complaint and I did read through this entire tread. Maybe in due time, but not likely (hopefully).

Old thread... But I did see someone post theirs up for sale today and got me to looking... AGAIN.... (the one for sale is in Washington and pickup only)

Black Friday was pretty good I guess... 645 I think I paid today. I been eyeballing this for awhile because jeep should have this standard... dog hair and carpet ... Shesh.

I'll wait to install, so I can do the bartact seat covers at the same time and jcr underseat cargo basket.
