Seems like it may be pretty accurate.My Overland with auto and tow package according to the WEB SITE - payload is -pretty close, maybe on, haven't looked for a while - but the TOWING is off.

Consider this, the advertised tow ratings are going to be on the conservative side because of liability and common sense. They advertise 7000 on the JTR and 6000 on your Overland. Reality is the actual numbers are a few hundred pounds higher without counting drivers and passengers, but the average Joe isn’t going to say to themselves “okay, it’s 7400 minus my weight and the weight of my gear so I can tow 7090lbs”. In fact if they said 7400, must people will say “my trailer weighs 7600lbs, that’s only 200 extra, no biggie” when in fact it puts them closer to 500 over.
Anyrate, yours is 6331 but after taking into account you and the wife, your right around the 6000 advertised rating.
(Of course having 600 on the tongue for towing that without WD or stiffer springs was another issue from the other thread, right?)
