We used mixed beam optics in the JL and plan to use the same for this design. These provide illuminated distance while also providing a bubble of light directly behind the vehicle. We find this provides the most functional and beneficial lighting.

These will tap to the factory reverse lights and have an optional PNP reverse light harness. The lights can also be wired to the vehicle aux switches or to both an aux switch and reverse lights with the addition of an inline diode.

We are looking at a mid-April release right now with there being a bit of a backlog on getting the molds completed. Hopefully we can move that date up a bit.

Interchangeable lenses are a great suggestion but would have some challenges in this particular application and would increase the price substantially. Suggestion is appreciated but we will continue to move forward with the existing design.

The plan is to hold off on starting the GB until we have a firm release date. We don't want to take anyone's money until we can provide a release date that we feel confident in.

Will definitely be posting an update on the GB soon when we have the ETA established :like:
If these lights are connected to the back up lights, will they draw to much current for the existing wiring? Also will you be recommending a diode to connect to the reverse lights and a diagram on how to wire them?

Any plans to release a version with red LEDs instead of white that would be controlled by a switch? As mentioned previously, I'm more interested in having rear fog/dust lights in that spot than backup lights. Right now it looks like my options for that are to either find the European version rear fog lights and then wire them to a switch, the Vision-X reverse kit with red filter or film on the lights, or your product with a red film added. I would obviously prefer native red LEDs. Your product also looks much cleaner than the Vision-X one.
Yes, the OEM Euro-Fog light assemblies are the way to go if that's what you want to do:
From the other thread, for "red only":

Rear fog left - 68338391AA - $33
Rear fog right - 68338390AA - $33

I've already ordered and received mine, just haven't installed yet as I'm undecided on the wiring method as I'm planning on adding the Oracles once they are available, and intend to control them (either/both when installed) using the fog light switch.

I want the install to be as clean as possible.

Hi - sorry - please point me to the other thread. In an ideal world I would have 1 left side rear fog wired to an aux switch or into the factory fog in a momentary sequence (i.e. front - front/rear - all off) AND a wide and bright reverse light on the right side wired to the reverse selector BUT with the ability to flip on manually through on aux switch as a helpful aid for tailgaters so the can see my rear bumper better ?

I did a write up on adding euro fogs. You have to add 2 wires to the BCM and they work with the existing fog light button and go like so:

1st click: Front fogs on
2nd click: Front and Rear fogs on
3rd click: Front fogs only again
4th click: all off

The nice thing is I can swap these euros out for the oracle lights and have it work the same way.

We have thoroughly tested these for sever weeks now in numerous scenarios and did not overload the reverse light circuit and there are many members here connecting auxiliary lights which draw much more power to the reverse lights without issue.

As for the diode, I am sure we can write something up to help those wanting to do this.

@ORACLElights thanks for the update! Question for you on the reflector portion of the design. Has there been any thought/discussion on putting red lights behind where the reflectors go with separate wiring/plugs? I'm just thinking, It would be great to have working reflectors/red lights that can be utilized for rear fog functionality.

Not sure if you have been following along on the forums, but people have figured out it's not hard to swap out the reflectors for the eurospec rear fogs, then get them wired into the the BCM and subsequently have them work with the factory fog light button. If there has not been a discussion on something like this, what are the odds on getting this done as an optional upgrade for those that want it?

The type of lens a true reflector is can not have light pass through it. What you are suggesting would be a red lens (not a reflector) in that position to do this. It would add additional LEDs and add complexity to the design which would increase price.

Eliminating the reflector functionality, complicating the installation and wiring, and increasing cost does not seem to be the feedback we have been getting here.

@ORACLElights , again, brilliant design. I really like the way it integrates with the bumper. But it really looks like you are getting more and more people asking about a different colour than white. From what I understand there seems to be many people with very dark and long driveway that need more light when they backup. Got it, your product address that issue. But there's also plenty of people on here that need to address the need for more visibility in fog/rain/snow (red) or in dust (amber). Would it not be possible to produce three different version of this light with the same design, the only difference being the LED colour? White for the backup crowd, red for the fog/rain/snow crowd, and amber for the dust crowd. With different instructions on how to wire them depending on the application (backup vs switch). You produce a variety of light in a multitude of colours (e.g. ColorSHIFT), I'm not sure why this is so complicated in that case. I'm genuinely puzzled here.

At this point I think that screwing a red KC Cyclone on each reflector and wiring that to a switch will be the simplest and cheapest solution... They also make them in Amber...

Nothing complicated about it, we are simply addressing the largest need first then we plan to look into whatever other options are desired.

Yes but it doesn’t look nearly as cool or factory!
