I would like to see your wiring install....
If you don’t have the PNP harness and don’t plan to use one, do you have a factory tow pkg? If so, and if the tow wiring colors are the same as the JL’s tow wiring (I have not checked—this below is for the JL), this is from a respected JL forum member. “It is far better to tap into the white wire with orange-ish color chase for your 12v and for your ground do a simple self taping screw to the 4x4 tow rail that is right there. Again, the least you bastarzie factory wiring the better. If your ground gets iffy, goes south (it happens) it is easy easy to address the ground at a self taper versus recutting into the black ground wire in the 7 pin.” NOTE: This is a paraphrase from the JL light install. Anyone know if the JL and JT trailer 7-pin is the same?

I agree on the wire length. The only way I could get it hooked was to drop it on the large hole below the tail light. if I dropped it straight down, it was 6 inches short.
Maybe @ORACLElights could chime in here. Is there some other more efficient wiring route that should be taken to ensure there is enough wire length? Obviously you guys didn't have this issue during your test installs.

Good evening all -- just an update here. Our admin team has corrected all of the orders, and the shipping department is working as fast as possible to finish shipping them out ASAP.

The remaining orders will be picked up tomorrow, and these orders will be prioritized. Again, we’re sorry for this brief hiccup. As always, please reach out if we can clarify your order status for you.

Yeah I’m leaving the country next week so a refund might be in order tomorrow. Don’t know why the group buy orders weren’t prioritized in the first place

I placed my order 3/5 also.

Just received my shipping confirmation a couple hours ago. According to the tracking it is supposed to arrive July 1st, coming from Louisiana.

So… I guess I’m in the same boat as some people who got the plug n play harness. I can’t manage to hook up the passenger side to the harness, it will s about a foot short. Is there something I’m missing? The driver’s side is hooked up and bright. Fit and finish is legit.

@ORACLElights, what is the wiring path to make the length work here for those with the PNP harness? Seems like it’s short, which negates the use of the harness.

I would assume the 7-pin connection is the same on the JL and JT. It should follow the US-CAR standard.
The Curt 56584 harness connects to the 7 pin connector right behind the bumper. It provides a five pin trailer harness that should make wiring easier. It includes a ground and reverse light wire. Combine it with a Curt 58540 and it should provide plenty of wire to work with.

Good morning everyone, be on the lookout for your shipping notice some time today and reach out if you have additional questions. To be clear, groupbuy orders are always prioritized. We received hundreds of orders in the first day or so.

Give me just a moment on the harness questions, and I'll get technical assistance here!

I plugged mine into the driver's side tailight harness...there's a natural 'tunnel to run the wires down. IF you ran it all the way to the bottom, that's where you need to redirect. About 6-8 inches up, there is a hole that you can fish the wire through and it will reach the passenger side...barely but it does work. Just make sure that cable is ran clear through that hole without wrapping around any other wiring.
