New to the Jeep game. With this option I understand that the switches for future accessories are placed in the cab but where do the wires from the switches run to? I guess I'm asking how beneficial this option is for future lights/ accessories.

Under the hood are power lugs all wired and ready to go. The switches themselves can be configured as either momentary (winch controls etc) or latched (lighting etc) as well as keyed power it always on power from the head unit. Hard to beat that kind of simplicity.

Also there’s a bundle of wires under the passenger footwell too, that way you can have whatever switch hooked in the engine bay or inside.

So you can get the dealership to add the Auxiliary switches ? Reason asking is that I came across a nice Sport S Max Tow that has pretty much everything I want in it but the Auxiliary switches and the Blind Spot. I can live without the blind spot although as I get older it is a nice function to have for a neck that doesn't swivel like it used to. But I would like to add things later and think the Auxiliary switches would be very useful

What I really like is that one of the wires in the cab is a power wire that works with your ignition. I have my dash cam on it... it’s awesome not hunt for a wire like that.

Frankly, these should have been standard on all models.

The Aux switches can be added as a dealer installed option. However, it doesn't include the two hot wires under the dash that are installed with the factory Aux switches wire bundle.

Well I have a few months (June or July) before getting serious about purchase so perhaps will run across one with the switches installed already or maybe order or maybe the new 2021 this will be a standard item (LOL). One can wish

With that time window I would absolutely order it exactly the way I want it. In fact I did, and because some items were blocked at the time I still didn't get exactly what I wanted, but I got damn close.

It may be I will have to order. I keep thinking more and more that with the higher cost to purchase I probably should at least make sure I get what I want and try not to settle.

I didn't order, but found one well equipped that I'm happy with. The only thing I didn't get, that I wanted, was the block heater. It could still be added, but not worth it unless I decide to move way north.
