Not new to Mopars but new to jeeps. If I new better I would have opted for the factory switches, but I did not so looking for a simpler after market solution to run my KC Gravity Pro lights and future air horn. I see a lot of options out there for switches like S-pod, S-Tech LASFIT, Trigger systems etc...

I only plan on having the 2 options that need power and switches and looking for the best option. I am sure this thread will help others as well as I do not see an Aux switch thread.

If you're really really sure you will only ever need two, I'd just run the switch that came with the lights and the horn inside the cab and use those. But...you'll find a reason for more switches, I gaaahhhrooonnnteeee.

Spod and Switchpros are awesome but are usually 8 circuits and $$$. I kind of like the Voswitch idea to go in the factory hole:

Voswitch here. I’ve had Spod and SwitchPros on previous vehicles.

Install ... I give this one to VOSwitch as its super easy especially on the JT/JL platform.

quality- I would rank VOSwitch last and SwitchPros first. The plastic seems fragile as I did receive a broken tab on the cubby storage which I replaced with a mopar takeoff. The version I have doesn’t have a dimmer so it’s brighter at night when lights are on... it doesn’t distract though.

Good info on the VOswitch unit, i have looked into it, looking for ease of install and quality.

I have issues with the size of power cable VOSwitch uses... 8AWG might be fine if the unit were right next to the battery but at the distance it's intended to be mounted, that should be 4AWG to reduce the voltage drop. Other than that it looks mostly fine at face value to me and replacement power cable should be relatively cheap. Not sure if that's an indicator of them cutting corners though because that's really cutting that corner.

No experience with anything other than Switch Pros and SPod but I'd highly recommend either.

Are you against adding the MOPAR AUX panel? I went that route and while I'll admit the installation was a bit of a pain in the ass the outcome is worthwhile. It looks and operates like a factory option because it is. 4 switches is plenty for me, I only have 2 out of 4 in use with plans for 1 more. I'm sure you know what it looks like but here's a pic after install to compare to the ones above

I would prefer the Mopar unit, but not easy to install and for my usage of it, do not need all the options from the touchscreen. lots of other good alternatives to choose from too. I am still looking though.

I ordered the factor aux switches. It’d be nice if Voswitch or someone would offer a bank for the remaining cubby area because 8 switches is really what I need

I have these too. My only complaint is every time the ESS does it’s thing, the panel flickers with the engine starting. It’s super annoying. I saw a couple others posts about this a while back with suggestions to connect it to the driver’s side heated seats in the fuse box, but that didn’t help. Others were thinking this would solve the issue because the heated seats don’t turn off and on with the ESS. Otherwise, it works great and blends in well. I would only recommend this option for the price and aesthetic appeal. This is great especially good if you’re not going to use it a lot and need some switches that are easy to install.

If you’re only gonna use two channels, the Pilot PL-SW29 can be programmed to the HomeLink buttons. There’s a thread about the PL-SW29.
And it’s like $35.
