The grey, blue, and gator pictured are all 100% stock height the exact way they came out of the factory. No spacers or modifications of any kind.

Heres a different picture of them if that helps better to show the height.

How does the Jeep run on 37s with 4.10? Does it seem noticeably sluggish like the 3.73 gearing? Do you get up hills relatively well? Any off-roading?
Not sluggish off road and no issues off road but I would recommend changing out fenders as it would help full flex. As far as hills I don’t drive over any often ( Houston is flat) but the time or two I remember being on a bridge or tall on-ramp it seemed fine

Thanks! I don't recall, do you have a lift? I'm thinking of a 2.5" RE lift and I don't know if I'd need to change out fenders. I already have the "premium" bumper w/o air dam.

I have the 2” Mopar and factory(non rubicon) fenders are just fine.

For all of you who have 37s what is it like on long drive say 6-7 hours highway speeds. Thinking I am going to bite the bullet but dive long trips 350miles 1 way weekly. so does it beat you up is
it noisy ? if i do it i will regear to 4:88 I think I want it to be as close as possible to stock drivewise. So what are your experiences?

The trouble is, its so subjective. I will say that I drive this rig everywhere and I love it. I have a wife and a three year old and I’m early 40’s and we dont even have or want step bars. I was driving it in dress clothes to the office every day before the pandemic and now its even taller than it was then and if we ever go back to the office its what I will do again.

this thing has a little over 4 inches total lift on 37inch toyo open country m/t’s that hum louder than the crash test dummies on a comeback tour. I dig it because every time i drive it i am 7 years old again playing with a super stomper in the back yard. My kid loves it, wife loves it. With 4.88’s its plenty peppy to break any posted highway speed limit in america.

point is, do what you want. Go for it. If you make an error, tweak it. Most of all, have fun. Its what you bought it for.

I was checking out cost to do 37s and a shop i have used inthe past quoted 10K base lift was 999 5 tires fox wide body shcoks re gear to 488 and track bar. They also said I need wheel spacers. I would like to keep my wheels.

Now my commute starts at 3500 feet goes down to maybe 400 feet for a 180 miles than up over the grapevine at 4400. feet and it can be either really hot 110 or snowing. Now in my JLUR with 315-70 it was not even noticable. On that jeep i just put the 35s on and it was fine Now I am thinking of going to 37s but he prices are freaking me out ouch

So please give me your best idea of what it should cost:

Here is what I am thinking

Basic lift: +/- 1000
Trackbar???
tires 1800 ( 5)
regear 1750 +/-
labor ?? 1000

or the cheap way Will it work?

I can reuse the stock shocks with extenders
I would like to keep my wheels
That lift said i need spacers or wheels? Do I?

I just don't know

given those conditions what about a small 37 say a bfg ( 36.2?)
Track bar
regular rubi shocks but

no regear
no spacers

Hey guys,

So I’m having the WORST time trying to decide between 35 vs 37” ridge grapplers for my Overland Gladiator.

I have on order currently 20x12 -44 Black Rhino Arsenal wheels, which I LOVE. I just can’t decide on the tires! I currently have the 35’s ordered, but then called discount tire yesterday to change to 37’s, then 2 hours later, panicked and changed back to 35’s. Now I’m debating on calling back tomorrow when they open to go back to 37’s. Please help!! Haha!

It’s my daily driver. I have 3 kids with car seats in the back. I plan to go with either a Mopar 2” lift or Rubicon Express 2.5” lift, both with fox shocks.

I really can’t decide. It’s messing with my mental health. I want the meatier tire of the 37’s but am sooooo worried about the 3.73 gears and the poor gas mileage (currently averaging 20’ish MPG). BUT, then I’m worried that I’ll get the 35’s and regret itwant to go 37’s. I reaaaaally don’t want to regear as I’m concerned about reliability long term, but I would imagine it would increase reliability. I don’t do any crazy off-roaring, I just want the look and stance of the 37’s.

I’m not really sure what I’m looking for, but I guess just real world scenarios of those of you with 37’s and 3.73 gears. Trust me, I’ve ready EVERY thread regarding this topic. I just want specific answers to my conundrum.

Thanks,
Adrian
man there is no need to stress like that. It’s nothing to lose sleep over. There won’t be that much of a difference in night from the 2. The mopar lift with 37s and defeat and you will be very happy. U can drive it with the 37s until your regear u just won’t be setting any land speed records. Do not stress. Enjoy the gladiator with your kids.

I bet if you only go straight on flat asphalt it’ll be fantastic.
