So really if you want to convert to 2 doors, you want to buy a Wrangler, not a Gladiator. What we're looking at is a Jeep Wrangler JLe that's been converted into a two-door Gladiator.
3 Wheel base options to fit intended use cases! So really if you want to convert to 2 doors, you want to buy a Wrangler, not a Gladiator.
I feel like this has been a thing for quite a while now.
Couldn't say it any better. That's why we still have choices in Jeeps. People who want a two-door JT should build one. If you want the best crawler, get a JL. If you want a good all-around vehicle for off road and overlanding, get a JT. There is no perfect Jeep.Something like report number 3?
The problem is - 2 door pickups just don't sell well these days. Look around. They are pretty much dead. People want cabin space.
If you want a shorter Jeep, buy a Wrangler, use the back to haul stuff.
And with the full floating axles on the newer Wrangler (Rubicon?) its tow rating isn't bad for a short wheelbase vehicle. The shorter they are, the harder they ride and the less that can safely pull. So what's the point of a 2 door Gladiator over a JL?
Another piece to help Quadratech sell stuff.
Give me a 2 dr Jt with a diesel im a buyer or even a 2 dr Jl with a diesel. That would be a cool rig
Or could be they just aren't on the lots, if you want a two door you have to go through the pain of factory ordering one IF they even offer it. EPA fuel requirements push bigger vehicles since the larger the vehicle, the less mpgs it has to meet. A 2 door JT would sell most likely better than a 2 door JL.Something like report number 3?
