I need a bed step to climb in and out of my Gladiator. Those that have them, which seems to be the easiest to use?

I have this thing: Tyger Step

I actually got it because I live somewhere with awful drivers and if one of them decides to smash into me while playing on their phone and not pay attention in front of them, then congrats, they've totalled their car.

But I use it all the time as a step to hop into the back. It's a solid chunk of metal, and I've had it since a couple of months after I got my truck in 2020, and it looks the exact same except for where the u-bolt rubs on it (but it's still perfectly fine).

My solution is nowhere near as elegant. 😁 I have a heavy duty fold up stool with adjustable height legs that I use when I need in and out of the bed. It does double duty as a seat when I’m working down low on my JT. It lives in my bed so is always with me.

I actually do the same thing. I have a folding aluminum step from Harbor Freight that is usually in my truck. I just toss it out and use it when Im getting in and out of the bed frequently or digging in my toolbox.

This was actually my first choice when I was shopping but the last picture on the Amazon product page warns of potential interference with back-up sensors which my Mojave X does have so I passed on it. It probably doesn’t but I didn’t feel like taking a chance. It looks like a very nice unit though.

Physical Therapy or Yoga. I'm legally disabled, but I'm a freak of nature regarding recovery, it's90% mindset. I just put my foot on the tailgate and step up, and under 6' too haha.

But I do have a HF folding stool for my grandmother when she comes along.

I have an Amp Research Bed step. I like it a lot. It lowers down about 7" and folds up out of the way. I also use one on my 2500 pickup. Never done any maintenance and it work great after about 12 years.

Yep. I do the same thing. No point in overthinking it. My wife uses it to get in my jeep as well.🤣
