Weight placed in that area of the truck results in the door gaskets squeeking from the frame flexing between the axles.......I can relate! I came up with a rough number of approx 70% of the weight applied to the front seats goes on the steer axle.....Depending on how much is belly weight or leg weight?

In my head thinking about one of my shop teachers in High Skool with that annoying voice.........."rharr.......that's one demerit"! What hell is a demerit anyway and what value did they have? As many as I collected, never got me any farther in life.........

Leaf spring Simplicity until or unless you have too much torque and must go this route to prevent bending springs and messing things up. But then you have chassis twist and have to use frame rail connectors on a car like this.
Or maybe the pinion climbs the ring gear so badly, the springs wrap up and you snap the drive shaft and it whips around in the tunnel ripping out the brake lines............. (I had to replace the brake lines and pound out some nice dents in the floor. Luckily it was the rear of the shaft that let go and not the front - I don't have a safety loop.)

I kept leaves on the rear of the XJuggy for a reason, they worked. Did I add traction bar after snapping a center pin on a steep hill climb, absolutely. That trail fix required three winches and two hilifts to stabilize the rig.

Never could get the Waggy leaves in the front to stop bending and wrapping severely due to space constraints so back to coils it went. That was a shame, those leaves rode and flexed amazing.

Normally at work. First is heated discussion with boss. 2nd is in boss's office for a quite talk with the door closed. 3rd is the writeup. 4th you get your walking papers. BUT........if you slap your boss up side the head during the heated discussion. The police will walk you out the door. But all of your co-workers will see you as a hero. Your wife will think of you as a loser.
