If I can find others with the same issues as mine - time for class action?
Dunno, mostly just musing. Just fix it. Seriously, just fix it, or whatever
or money back and agree that you can't fix it and others should know it might not fit THEIR Jeep and Jeep state on every box "since our tolerances vary, some products may not fit as intended".

Depends on the size of the class and the chances of getting a decent settlement to pay the lawyers. You might not get anything worthwhile out of this after the lawyers take their cut.

It would be worth @Bestop flying one of their mechanical engineers out to @ShadowsPapa to take measurements. It's not like it's a clapped out truck that races the Baja 1000. It's a brand new Jeep.

Given there are owners on multiple forums complaining about same, there are probably 10x as many others who don't use Internet forums having the same issue.

Yeah, mostly just musing, but I have a feeling this is a bigger deal because many just bolt it on and never look at it.

Exactly - it's just over 6,000 miles, totally stock save for the plow brackets and winch.
Most Iowa roads are pretty decent (well, there's a few in Des Moines, they ignore the east side lower income area streets)
Took it home April 12th of this year - roughly 7 months old.

The "Jeep" Sunrider actually eliminates most user error as you don't have to "assemble it" the way you do if you buy one from Bestop. I feel like they feel it's user error and thus dropped the case. If Papa can install a snow plow, a Sunrider is trivial. No user error.

Snowplow on a Mojave was easy...............4.0 in an Eagle, adapting the cruise control switches, inserting an in-tank fuel pump, modifying the clutch release bearing, drilling the bell housing for crank sensor, making the exhaust clear the hydraulic clutch cylinder.......... that was more fun. LOL

They close cases.
Exactly. @JeepCares is a bunch of social media interns empowered by upper management to call local dealerships and say "hey, can you help? No? Okay, i'll close the ticket then. Sorry to bother you sir. It shant happen again."

Not with @JeepCares, but with other companies, I have had great luck with posting on Twitter/X and getting a response. They seem to want to keep their noses clean in that forum.

Good luck! I guess @JeepCares wouldn't do anything?
I'm in the middle of dealing with corrosion warranty on mine, and jeepcares has been totally useless. In the midst of waiting for over a month for warranty approval, jeepcares closed my case because I hadn't left the truck at the dealership for that time period. I guess they expected me to just leave the truck there for 35 days while they decided what they wanted to approve.

Anytime someone mentions "Have you contacted @JeepCares ?" I think...

Jeep Gladiator Bestop and Jeep have totally dropped my case. BEWARE {filename}
"Why yes, I have tried shouting into The Void. Surprisingly, it was less than productive. Any other ideas?"

The AG sent back a boilerplate thanks for contacting us, please complete the form at this link and send it to us.................

Jeepcares hasn't been here since yesterday.

Bestop was here about 4:30

Dealership says it's an accessories issue.

I'd have to have some proof that something on the window sticker is a big case and not just an accessories thing. I hear/read what members here say, but no one here is an attorney so that's just opinion without any reference to applicable law.

I guess I go ahead and fill out the long complaint form, gather all of my records of visits to the dealership and wait. It's been 6 months already so a couple more won't matter, and it's turning cold here anyway.
