Just a update, new fully enclosed 3d printer arrived yesterday, for printing higher temp plastics like abs, asa, poly carbonate, nylon, etc. At the moment I'm printing a driver side with holes for side markers. Should hopefully be done when I get home from work today :)

I really like the idea of using Maxxma 1 1/4" clearance lights on the side. Do you think they would fit? They take 1 3/8" hole if I remember right.

I could easily do that. I will see today how much room I have with the 3/4 lights and let you know

This is terrific. Thanks for sharing all your hard work with us. I know you said you were getting a printer similar to a Bambu Labs, what did you end up with? At this point my little Ender 3 has only run PLA, PETG, and TPU. Will have to build an enclosure one of these days to try out the ABS and ASA.

I ended up getting a qidi x plus 3.
I will also probably get a qidi x max 3 when it is available.

I just purchased today a anycubic photon m3 max which is a resin printer with a big enough build volume to print two lights at a time. I didn't realize 3d print resins have come so far that now they have some that can withstand 240c after printed. That should work as tail lights no problem...

Can't wait for it to get here.

Love the work you're doing.........gonna be a nice side gig for you.

I'd rather give my money to a fellow Jeeper then a company with a flawed product
