I posted on here that I’m hesitant to share the files. I haven’t decided yet.@wildtaco has recent activity too. Its pretty obvious these fellas dont want to share the files. Bummer.
Jeep tail lights also function as the rear position marker lights and reflectors.I needed new tail lights for inspection, so I bought the Rugged Ridge ones. So far I like them, but we’ll see how they hold up. Maybe someday I’ll get around to printing a set.

I question how well - if at all - those RR lights work as reflectors on the side, visible from xxx feet as per federal laws.
You can bet that no "printed" tail light works as a side position marker reflector. They would literally have to map out a true reflector, have a polished surface on the reflective interior and orient the light in the correct direction (in most vehicles, there's a true left and right side position marker light - which most just call a "marker light")
But then - how many Jeep owners care about laws and traffic safety on our roads and highways?
Sorry, personal taste - I'd skip the RR tail lights just on appearance alone - they just don't fit the look of a Jeep, except perhaps the Renegade or similar.
Looks good. I need a replacement LH tail light assembly. are you selling yours?
Everyone who wants to shit on a guy for not sharing a homemade product like this on a forum should be required to run a popular group-buy on the same forum*. You'll understand real quick why @wildtaco chose to keep these private, and I really don't blame him.@wildtaco - You have every right to not share or to share. You put a ton of money, time, and thought into what you were working on and it is complete up to you and you alone. While I would like to be able to buy one of your designs, I also respect the reasons why you decided to stand down.
Looks good so far, can’t wait to see the rest! Did you design it yourself, or did you find the file online somewhere?I finally got my printer to successfully print ABS. My test print before I ran out of my ABS. Just need to get a new roll to run a new print.
