Reviving an old thread, but can't seem to find a good answer, can the Rockhard 4X4 sliders support the weight of the jeep?

The RH sliders are very strong and would be limited only by the strength of the mounting points, namely the pinch welds, bottom of the tub, and body mount areas. I haven't lifted my JT up by them but I do use them for backup jack stands in case the floor jack were to fail. During frame-off restoration of a car, I supported the back of the body with the pinch welds so I believe you could jack up the Jeep with the rock rails if you had to.

I’ve put Rockhard 4x4 rock sliders on my last 4 Jeeps. They have not let me down yet. Their JT offering is very nice 👍🏻 and of course, made in the 🇺🇸

I have Rockhard angled down, and there's plenty of times I've used them to literally slide over rocks. No problems, and it makes it a lot easier to get around some things that the long wheelbase may make difficult.

I'm trying to narrow down my purchase here and have come across a few points to note, and want some owner insights. Rig currently has the factory Ribucon rock rails that can stay or go, depending how they look or what's needed on the end product. Maybe GoRhino should be added here for a true slider option, if so, please chime in...

I have seen lots of RockHard 4x4 products; great stuff, build, and following the body curve (is this the only slider that does this?) They look great.

Expedition One, anyone have them, or experiences with them, they make great stuff, yet stopped making these.

Rocky Road - Looks solid, build, and price, I think paying $300 for powder coating is ridiculous and I'll stand by that thought

White Knuckle - Seem solid and good quality, any owners or pictures? If shipping isn't including and adds an additional $300+ I'm out, just other options on the block and not going to get my vote this go round.

Thanks for the assistance

I have white knuckle rock sliders and love them. You can get round the $300 shipping by having it shipped to business with forklift. I didn't get this charge, since i have a forklift.

2years of Offroad use no complaints with my rock hard angled up. Grip tape the tube as when wet they can be slippery

I ordered them on February 1st and picked them up from FedEx freight yesterday.. I think my angled ones took quite a bit longer...but that was more during covid.

I have the Expedition One. Had to wait 7 months or so but the welds and powder coating are top notch! They are stout, look amazing, and have a functional step. Wasn’t a fan of drilling the six holes but they are as strong as you can get for not being a frame mounted slider.

I also have their rear bumper and it is one piece that wraps to the fender and stout af. Also beautiful welds and powder coating. Glad I took the chance on them as I haven’t heard much about them in the Jeep community.

Cheers
