Yes, it calls for blue Loctite Threadlocker 242Thanks. Did you guys loctite?
If the rear is lifted more than 2 inches with stock arms, you can benefit from a spacer. It looks like you need one from the photo but its best to measure the difference between the shaft angle and yoke angle to be sure.By looking at this picture of the drive shaft connection to the rear diff, can someone tell me if a spacer would be necessary? I really like the idea, but don’t know enough about the angles, as zero is apparently bad as well. If not, thanks anyway.
The rear is stock control arms and 3.5-4 I’d guess. It started with the 3” JKS lift, but I have ram 1500 springs in the back as an add on, so it’s likely 4 in the back. Any opinions between the rock hard and Dana spicer options? I’d probably lean towards Dana if no one has a good reason otherwise. If the rear is lifted more than 2 inches with stock arms, you can benefit from a spacer. Yours looks super tame compared to mine. If mine looked like that I wouldn’t bother with a spacer I don’t think. But if that’s 2.5, and mine looks the way it does. I’m getting one. Here’s my front picture. Harder to judge with u joints visually.Anyone have a picture of a stock rear pinion angle to diff? This is mine with the Clayton 2.5” lift. I also bought the rock jock spacer, yet to install it though.
Super easy, the only hang up I had was I spent about 15mins trying to find my bottle of red loctiteI just picked up the Rock Jock spacer. Is it as simple to install as it looks? Any pointers?
When I removed the factory bolts I noticed red residue on the threads. So I used red loctite.Thanks. Did you guys loctite?
