Kinda figured it would be completed before they're installed. Just wondering how much of a delay it might add. I'm perfectly fine with a delay since I'm out the door for an overseas field trip in about a month. It will actually work out in my favor if it is a fairly long delay.Sounds like it should be done before the engine is installed in your new truck or shortly after you get your new truck. Regardless it’ll get sorted. Just glad mine has been good so far. I’ve towed my camper 1000miles from home and back again. Glad it didn’t pop in sc lol. However I will ask about this when my truck goes in in two weeks for an oil leak.
Put it on. It makes it way way way peppier. When news first popped about this recall. Is why I haven't yet installed my Banks Derringer and Pedal Monster yet. I don't fell like doing things twice.
I have done research and none of the gen 3 ecodiesels in the gladiators or jlu are included in this recall. From what I’m reading none of the newer jeeps are included in this recall ??

No mention of wrangler or gladiators
Edit: not a complete list I see
Seems odd I can’t find any reports of gladiators having this done as a recall ?? I see some random reports of failures but none having a recall completed. If you get yours done via recall please post the paperwork stating it’s a recall. It’ll help the rest of the community.Afternoon guys, first post but I'll be here for awhile. I went to pick up a used 21 Gladiator Sport S Eco Diesel last week from Las Vegas. I purchased the vehicle online and drove out there to pick it up, only to find that they couldn't give it to me until the fuel pump was replaced under nationwide recall. So the new pump is supposed to be there on Monday. Kinda sucked because I couldn't get my gladdy home, but at least I get to drive someone else's car around while I'm waiting. Just food for thought.
29k so far, so good.https://www.motorbiscuit.com/ram-jeep-recall-ecodiesel-v6-fuel-pump-problems/
Interesting, I wonder if they are saying Wranglers and Gladiators with EcoDiesels aren't affected? I believe we have three CP4 failures on this forum.
I still have the conversation via email from the Customer Resource Manager stating that since it's a national recall they cannot release the Gladiator to me until it's done. I'll definitely see if I can get some paperwork on it though. I'm still trying to get her to throw in a bed cover for my troubles of having to drive out there, book a room, etc.Seems odd I can’t find any reports of gladiators having this done as a recall ??
