Custom Hybrid Suspension Mix for Max Tow Gladiator (JKS / Dobinsons / Fox)

I went with the mopar lift for a couple reasons. I was able to put it into the cost of the vehicle when I bought it. The original kit came with FOX 2.5" shocks. To buy replacement 2.5's, will cost me more then the lift kit that came with them (Over 2K)

You also get about 3-3.5" of lift on a max tow (that's what I got). Downside, is yes, I had to buy a adjustable track bar. That was just a couple hundred bucks. Still under the height that requires new driveshafts etc.

The FOX 2.0 remote reservoir shocks you potentially want to add, are about $1300 and you can get the new Mopar lift with Bilstein 5160 remote reservoir shocks for about $1700 depending on which site you use. So your getting the lift for about $400 is how I see it.

I've got about 64K miles on the jeep now and will have had it for 6 years come Oct and have no complaints.

Its gonna cost me about $1200 bucks to replace the FOX 2.5's with the updated Bilstein 5160 remote reservoir shocks in the next 6 months when I do that.

I know its not popular with many hard core offroaders, but it has been flawless for me so far.

Alot of people give the fox shocks hell and yes the 2.5 adjustable are really expensive i did not know you had the mopar lift since day 1. How do you feel the springs held up over the years? Gator_overland told me his springs have held up great over the past 5 years and he has some good weight on his build. Also i see you added the carrier drop bracket, did you feel you needed it? Did you do anything else for geometry beside the base lift componets?

I love them, but they’re for sale actually. I’m getting into trails that borderline require Beadlocks. I’m really going to miss these wheels. Absolutely fantastic. I actually have 7 of them. 2 still new in the box.

Jeep Fox Poo Poo Mopar lift shocks. Im not impressed. I’ll change em out when I decide exactly what I want and which springs I want to run with the RK arms.

Yeah. Jeep Fox is not Fox. I like rock Krawler and have their stuff on my jeep. But I LOVE teraflex IR arms.

The Springs have held up well. I added front steel bumper (no winch yet) and a tire carrier on the rear which added some weight. Springs did not sag at all. The carrier bearing drop bracket was just "because I could". It was cheap but I never had any vibration before adding it.

And it still tows our boat well with little to no sagging on the rear end.

Besides the adjustable front track bar and the Fox performance steering stabilizer, I have not done anything else with any suspension geometry on the truck. I honestly feel the truck rides nicer / more control when i originally had 35's and now 37's then my neighbors factory max tow. But that could just be me.

I do like the Rancho front and rear diff skids and Rockhard FAD skid. Ran the Rancho diff skids on a 2010 JKUR that I had as well.

The Springs have held up well. I added front steel bumper (no winch yet) and a tire carrier on the rear which added some weight. Springs did not sag at all. The carrier bearing drop bracket was just "because I could". It was cheap but I never had any vibration before adding it.

It just you. The factory suspension is definitely lacking. Mine was way more planted after swapping springs and shocks. The first round was super basic with 3” springs and fox 2.0 shocks.

Rancho had a nice clean install, but I like that the nvm diff skids protect the pinion.

Awesome. Nice boat. Many people do mention that the mopar lift rides nicer then alot of factory set ups. Thanks for confirmation some of that being true.

These look really good. I was thinking on my next phase when i finish the steel skids to add dana diff covers as well a diff skid. These look clean i like it
