Hi everyone, I have a 21 gladiator and I’m throwing a 3.5” spring and shock rough country lift kit (I know I’m gonna catch hate for that but it’s fine) with 35” tires.

I’ve run the 2.5” level for the last 4 years and it’s driven like stock. I’m wondering if I need control arm relocation brackets or drop brackets (or anything else with the driveshaft/steering/etc) if I’m going with a 3.5” lift?

would love everyone’s input and pics if you have them! Thanks in advance.

Im around 4.5" with no relocation brackets on the front, I do run adjustable arms, and I moved the rear axle back to center it in the wheel well. On the rear I have metal cloaks axle side geometry brackets, this was more for driveline angle through out articulation, not a drivability thing.

3.5" is a lot of lift for just 35's and Rough Country, I might save up for something a little better.

But with a 3.5" you will need a HD track bar and either adjustable arms or maybe drop brackets for the front. Don't think you will get enough flex out of the rough country to need the longer DS but maybe.

Have you been running 2.5" lift with stock lower control arms ? You need adjustable lower LCA's

I have the same lift on my 2023 Rubicon, but with 37's. I believe that it comes with an adjustable track bar, but I am on the original control arms. I do have the upgrade of their N3 Nitrogen Shocks and I have no complaints. It rides/handles better than the stock Rubicon suspension. I am going to add either the geo correction brackets or longer/adjustable control arms just to see if additional caster improves either ride or handling. I did purchase a carrier bearing drop for it, as I believe it necessary for rear pinion angle. I have not installed it yet.

After a few thousand miles it still has enough lift that the 37's even appear small to me at times.

Definitely don't Need the 1/2" spacer for the rear carrier bearing, but it cant hurt, really depends on how much you are going to flex and articulate the rig.

I am probably going to be putting a 3/4 spacer in the rear. Even with the winch and bumper the front is level with the rear. I want just a tad of rake, both for appearance and for when loaded in the rear.

I have Clayton 3.5” springs, which yielded more like 4.5” front lift on my truck. The lower control arms were at a pretty steep angle to the ground in the stock frame-side mounts. I added drop brackets to reduce that angle and there was an obvious improvement in drivability. Better small bump compliance, reduced harshness on rough roads, and a lot better on washboard roads.

As said, either brackets, or adjustable controll arms and at 3.5" spacers for drive and to re-center things.

I have Teraflex geo brackets, adjustable control arms, and a adjustable track bar on the front. The rear has adjustable control arms, adjustable track bar, and a Teraflex track bar bracket. Also have a RockJock driveshaft spacer on the rear driveshaft. I'm sitting at 4" of lift.
